Doesn't play well with others

"The case performs as advertise and is very well built ... however ... you cannot put your Thrive10 into the charging stand (which I purchased at same time I purchased the case) while still in the case. You have to remove the tablet from the case in order to put the tablet in the stand. A very simple redesign would solve the problem. Set the two bottom tabs far enough apart in order to straddle the charger base. Current design has the tab locations interacting with the charger base and will not allow the tablet to sit into the charger properly. Fix this and you have your 5th star. Thanks."

I was hoping for better

"I love the tablet but believe the cases should be more streamlined and less bulky. I only admire the iPad3 for the super slim cover/case that has a quad-fold feature allowing the devise to be propped up and or docked.I have to remove the unit from the case to dock. The more I think about this simple issue the more I'm upset. I love my Thrive but HATE the cases Toshiba has made available. Cheap, bulky, and boring."

Disappointing

"Bulky, swivel is very stiff to turn. Stand does not stay in lowest position (the one you want to be able to type comfortably on screen), just collapses. I am not sure if case would protect the edges if the tablet was dropped. Clips that hold the tablet in place are covered in some sort of fake leather that is damaged by inserting and removing the tablet."

Think long and hard about buying..

"I thought it would protect the tablet and enhance the features. It does both, to an extent, but it wore down quickly for leather and actually cracked my screen while removing it! The clip jammed between the back cover and screen and created a crescent shaped crack. The rotating part is always bending the hinge when closed and not many ports are accessible. Be cautious."

Poor Design

"Great idea, exectued poorly. The swivel function is shaky at best. In landscape mode, the easel doesn't work. When the cover is closed, you can't use the charger which is stupid. Lastly it's way over priced"

Very Nice Accessory

"I bought the 360 case because I wanted something that I could use both portrait and landscaped. This fit the bill perfectly. While you cannot charge or use headphones when in the normal closed position, I simply rotated the Thrive (that's why it's a 360) so the inputs are exposed; simple fix; however, another magnetic snap could be added on both ends in future models so the cover stays shut. Overall, this is a great product; glad i purchased this with my Thrive back in July."

Poor case

POSTED BY: , Centerville, OH

"This case is bulky, thick, and overall poorly designed. You obviously cannot dock while in the case and it is not easy to switch from landscape to portfolio views. It does stand up well in the different positions. The material itself is cheap and the clips that hold the case to the Thrive lost their decorative coating the first time the Thrive was placed in the case. Overall, Toshiba could have and should have done a better job!"

"Not good at all. You can not watch streams in this that require you to view it the long way while charging,. there is no way to close it also while charging. if you want to use head phones and listen to music yet again you can not engage the magnetic lock. The viewing angles are mediocre at best,"

Very bad design

"This case is to bulky and hard to use. I picked a Thrive because of the heavy duty rubber back (and I love it) Why make a case that is this akward to use just to have something to protect your screen. My susgetion make a back cover that has a flap attached like found on the IPAD that can flip over and protect the screen or fold in a triangel to be a stand. Im just saying!"

Great accessorie
