"Performance - Screen resolution - Looks, are all excellent but the small keyboard ruins an otherwise excellent package and I can't say I am a supporter of Windows 8. I definitely do not like pre loading Norton software - Unnecessary complication"

"Well, I think I love this computer, however, the keypad keys do seem to stick. But I simply hate the Windows 8. Rather than let me use the computer and programs that I want, it is so invasive and wants to control my use -- I bought this computer to use the way I want to -- not be always in conflict with the Windows 8 trying to manipulate me its way.
I'm nearly ready to remove it and go back to Windows 7--though I only had XP and loved it. We'll see how it goes.
My Emails are always being affected -- difficult to open, not able to delete or send, and I still need to have my Sony Laptop with Windows XP nearby so I can access and send Emails."

"This computer is amazing the features are slow for me because I am learning Win 8 and apps. I somehow "messed up" the computer's ability to run properly. Turned the system off and Toshiba corrected the errors automatically and I'm up and running again."

"I tried several models/brands and found this one to be the best performer. They all have one thing in common and that is they won't turn the screen off or go into sleep mode running Windows 8. I am a long time computer tech and haven't figured this problem out yet. Otherwise, I love the computer."

"This is our third Toshiba and once again excellent features at a reasonable price. Delivery was quick, setup was easy and fast. 24" screen is fantastic. Out of the box and operating in 3 hours, including time to transfer data from the old computer. It is super not to have wires all over the place like we had with our old tower system. Built in speakers are week on base but we intend to add external speakers. If this desktop measures up to our Toshiba laptops, which we have had for three years, we will be over joyed."

"The LX835-D3340 is a great value for the money. On the positive side of the ledger is the machine's fast performance. The display is exceptionally sharp and colors are beautifully rendered. The machine is designed so that the wireless keyboard can be easily moved under the display which frees up desktop space when not in use. The high definition tuner and DVR work flawlessly and is exceptionally easy to use.
In the minus column is the noisy, cheap plastic keyboard that is not up to the standard of quality that I have come to expect from Toshiba. I replaced the keyboard with a high quality, quiet keyboard from Logitech. The screen is highly reflective, but this criticism is also true of the other all-in-one machines I evaluated. The screen brightness decreases when viewed at an angle so the unit may need to be moved when watching the high definition television or video.
The bottom line--a great machine except for the keyboard, thus my overall 5-star rating and a 4-star rating for Features. I would have no reservations recommending this All-In-One to a friend."

"I bought this All In One on October 7 2012 at Best Buy. I bought the extended warranty which I could have accessed from the first day of use but waited as I thought it was minor.
Two things... the cd/dvd player got stuck at times and most of the time didn't read my cds although the player door was shut. Also the computer screen would turn black for about a 1/2 second flash. This happened fromthe beginning but I didn't think it was a pressing issue. Then a cd got stuck in the player and the computer didn't read it so i couldn't eject it so I took it into Best Buy Geek Squad. They were able to get it out and I also mentioned that the screen would blackout for second and read up that it may be a graphic card issue. Turns out the cd/dvd player was replaced and and was told that sometimes the laser that is supposed to read the cd/dvd doesn't work and needs to be cleaned or something. It wasn't dirty in the first place as it was used only a few times, just a bad laser. Also the motherboard was replaced as the All In One doesn't have an actual graphic card...it's too big for the flat monitor so it has a graphic chip that is connnected to the motherboard and therefore unable to detach so the whole motherboard was replaced.
When i went to pick it up on Saturday the only issue now is that the geeks at the geek squad totally scratched up my monitor plastic covering in front and the back top of the computer with about 5 razor scratches probably from opening it from the way it was packaged. Also the bottom of the monitor had a slight opening like it was warping and not snapped i properly. So the geek squad at the Best Buy store took full responsibility but it needs to be shipped again. So if you get a repair done make sure to take pictures of your computer with a cell phone just prior to dropping it off so you have a time stamp just in case they don't admit fault. Turns out since the guy who checked in my PC didn't originally notice the markings at pickup...it's not covered by the Geek Squad warranty so it will be billed to the Best Buy store. I will not be responsible but I could see this happening again and if it's noticed after the fact and without recent photos then one could be out of luck.

"Excellent computer that is able to perform well while my spouse plays her online computer game. Only downside was that I didn't want a Touch-Screen, but wanted the All-In-One features, Windows 8 was built for a touch screen, so it's a bit difficult to get used to."

"It's been a challenge! I've been a Mac user. I switched over to a PC because of a design software program that runs off this format. So It's getting use to the differences, and where everything is located. I don't like that the Windows 8 is a trial, and also the Office 10. If you're going to offer it, just include it!!"

"My LX830 (I3 processor,8GB RAM, Win7) worked great right out of the box. It was the easiest computer set-up i've ever done. It's fast and seems to work very well overall. The built-in speakers are not as good as my previous JBL Platinum set, but the wireless keyboard and mouse are a plus. I look forward to using the built-in web cam. Would recommend this computer to anyone who wants a desktop for general tasking. Good unit for the price."

"The computer is all that that is advertised and works just fine. However, I was extremely disappointed to discover that it has a single 2Tb HD rather than the dual 1Tb HDs that are advertised. I have always used a second HD to back up my primary but I cannot do it with this computer.
Imagine my surprise today when I downloaded the Windows 8 Upgrade Manager and it told me that my touchscreen only includes Windows 7 capability and falls ahort on Windows 8. It also told me that there was no Windows 8 driver for the USB 3.0 hardware and that other components were not compatible. I bought this computer (and a second one) specifically to be ready for Windows 8. I guess that I'm not ready.
Although it is a fine computer, I would not purchase it again for the reasons cited above."

"This is a great system, super fast, efficient, I love the display. One word of caution to buyers and is minor: Do NOT attempt to remove the stickers that come on the monitor in the lower right of the screen!! (the energy star, intel, etc) If you attempt to remove those stickers you will actually cause some physical damage to the finish of the shiny black bevel that encases the screen. The surface these stickers are placed on is VERY sensitive/soft shiny plastic. This happened to me and it was upsetting as it is a visual eye sore and an expensive machine. Other than this tidbit Love the system and I'm sure it will last many years."

"When my last desktop died, it was only 2 years old. Given that short life, I decided to avoid a couple of the major brands selling desktops and look for an alternative I could feel good about. I owned a Toshiba Satellite laptop for roughly 8 years and it was still in working order when it became obsolete. I ran the Windows ratings on several all in one models and this Toshiba scored very well. Large, very sharp display that presented better than other models sitting next to it. This machine has performed flawlessly thus far, in a home with multiple users and applications. At this early stage I am very pleased.
It is my hope that the quality is still as good as the last Toshiba I owned. If this unit has the same longevity, I will change my price/value grade to 5 stars."

"I was going to buy another laptop but the big screen on this caught my eye and I decided I don't really need to drag a small computer around.Had a Toshiba laptop a few years back that I didn't like so I was skeptical. I love how simple this is, just plug it in, no mess of cords like the towers have. So far everything has been great on it. It's very fast! Still trying to figure out some differences between this an my Dell but so far, so good."
