"It's a nice decent workhorse. It does everything well, though no aspect of it's performance will blow your mind. I bumped it up to 8 gigs of RAM straight out of the box because that's a cheap no-brainer. I will say that having the optical drive is a nice touch in a piece this small and light. I'm slightly disappointed that Toshiba touts the magnesium body of this line in some of its literature. There is some magnesium, but there's also quite a bit of plastic. So, don't go thinking that this is hewn out of a solid block of metal or anything. Battery life comes in at a solid 7h45min. So far it does a great job of dispersing heat. It's thin and light and easy to carry around. I'd buy it all over again."

"This laptop has all the "good" stuff, light weight 3lb, cd drive, power save settings at the push of a button, all the necessary ports including 1 USB3. The very best laptop I have ever used, and the battery life is totally awesome. After a full day of use, I still have battery. When they talk of 9 hrs, I believe them."
