"I like the laptop a lot, but wish it had an Express card slot and the fingerprint reader. Also, I would pay more if it had an SSD drive for booting faster."

"Extremely light with a battery that lasts eight hours, this laptop is great for traveling. With the light weight you forget that the case is metal! Toshiba has done a great job of integrating the hardware with the software in a truly usable laptop. The smaller screen size saves weight, but takes some getting used to if you are accustomed to a larger screen; however, the lighter weight is worth the trade-off of the smaller screen. Even so, it is more screen than you would get with a netbook, and much more usable. The 5400 RPM hard disk slows the laptop down. I wish I had ordered the 7200 RPM hard disk. The keyboard action is a little stiff for my liking. I much prefer a softer keyboard action, like a Sony laptop. Other than that, it is a great little laptop powerful enough to support a traveling software developer. I have even installed Linux on it in a multi-boot configuration."

"This is an excellent laptop for the price. You really can't find a 13" laptop with these specs for the price. At 3.2 lbs and around 7 hour battery life, you get a very portable laptop that you can take anywhere. They did skimp on 2 things that wouldn't have added much to the price. 1. A 7200 rpm hard drive. 2. A better Wireless N card. Both should have been included in the laptop. I'm thinking of adding a SSD to improve the performance. The only other thing that would have been nice would have been dedicated Video memory. But if you don't do any gaming or edit video you won't miss it."
