"I've had several Protege models. The last few of them with temperature problems that end making the unit useless. It's a great laptop but Portege keeps having strong temperature problems."

"This laptop surprised me in size and weight. Very thin and light. I was used to a 12.1" HP which cost much more and was heavy. Very fast boot up and shut downs, maybe still new, and also with SSD. Nice features include backlit keys, sleep and charge, hdmi port and widi ready. A few opportunities for improvements: - keyboard quality, space bar does always input. need to get used to this. - audio jacks still seperated (one mic, one phones), should have a jack like cel phones. - the chrome plated touch pad buttons are cheesy and dont click well, good thing i use the pad for everything. - - Wish it offered larger SSD without a CPU upgrade in the pre-built configs. At the time, 128GB was avail, 256GB would have been a lot more but came with better CPU."

"I bought many Laptops and notebooks for over 10 years, this is one of the best in all aspects EXCEPT Windows 8, I got mine with Windows 7 before they upgraded to 8. I used Win 8 on another devise and I hated it. If you can get this Toch Z935 with Win 7 you'd love it."
