"I've had several Protege models. The last few of them with temperature problems that end making the unit useless. It's a great laptop but Portege keeps having strong temperature problems."

"Good KB layout, and battery life. Very light for travel but feels a bit cheap, plasticky. Mouse pad not sensitive, swipe / scroll doesn't work well Monitor resolution not good, strains the eyes."

"Very good and very light, meets my expectations regarding specs: Fast, portable, fully PC capable, selection of USB ports, bluetooth, etc. My complaints: Pricey. Also, for a laptop with an SSD with limited storage capability, there is lots of "bloatware" installed that takes up valuable space. I had to spend considerable time uninstalling this garbage so I can have adequate data storage after loading my application software. Very annoying! There should be an option when purchasing these types of machines where all that bloatware is opted out, or only selectively installed. Perhaps just provide a link to the bloatware sites so the user can choose."

"The feature set on the laptop is incredible. My only gripe is that it gets extremely hot when looking under even mild pressure, such as watching a youtube video. Sometimes the display cuts out and goes blank for a whole an then gets back. I don't know if this has something to do with the INTEL graphics manager but certainly hope this is something that can be resolved or improved via software."
