"While someowhat pricey for a laptop, this machine is powerful enough to handle anything you can throw at it. The 3D feature is nice, particulary when playing 3D games. It is best to disable the 3D for ordinary computing, as you only need it for the 3D games and movies anyway. The labelflash feature is cool, but the only blank compliant disc manufactured are DVD+R and DVD-R discs. The user's manual is not very detailed, so I would recommend you contact Toshiba support if you have questions. The machine handles HD video particuarly well."

"My first Toshiba Qosmio G35-650 ended up in the shop twice for overheating problems when used as a gaming system. I finally had to retire it. The A665 with a quad-core processor seems to have solved the problem. Gaming was never this much fun. I opted for the DVD/CD player version because the price was almost double with the BlueRay disc player, besides it was for gaming. BTW you really need to turn off the mousepad when gaming, because the weight of my hand would cause the mouse to move during critical times and that's not good. Granted the screen is smaller that the Qosmio, but the price was a great sell point for me. Thanks Toshiba, a great product!"

"I've always been a fan of another brand of laptops and generally had good results with that brand. My most used one bit the dust last month so I started checking the specs and looking at the new ones. I liked the design of the Satellite series and found this one to be set up about as good as it gets for one of this size. Really nice keyboard layout and I really like being able to turn off the touchpad. Backlit keyboard is a really neat feature. My only wish is that the monitor was a higher res and non glare. Not to say that this is a bad one at all. I had a non glare before and this one will take me awhile to get used to. I did upgrade to Windows 7 pro also. Sound is fantastic! We have 3 Toshiba TV's in the house and love them too. A big reason I went with their laptop this time!"
