"Laptop was an upgrade from my last Toshiba so the high resolution screen was nice and the keyboard lighting was nice as well. When I close the laptop and open it back up the screen is often black so I have to put it to sleep and the turn it back on which was very annoying at first but I got used to it now. There was a feature with the mouse where you would be using the cursor and it would unexpectedly zoom in or out, but that can be changed under the mouse options. For some reason this laptop would exit out of my Java application while playing pogo games frequently too, maybe it was the internet explorer. Besides those problems this laptop is nice, I was worried that perhaps the two clickers might get stuck but no problems so far half a year in. Excellent memory storage on here and it runs pretty fast."

"This is a feature-rich laptop. Our other laptop is at least 10 years old, so when we got this one we were blown away. It has all the features we needed, plus a Bluray player and an HDMI outlet. Besides using it on the go, we use it to stream Netflix movies to our HDTV and the quality is terrific, much better than the Bluray player in our entertainment center. Other reviews have mentioned that the battery life is poor, but so far we haven't needed to use it more than a couple of hours in areas where we coudln't plug it in."

"This is an exceptionally great laptop that will do anything for my programming needs. The i5 processor is a dream for the exception that it heats up very quickly. The laptop itself, due to the fast processor, has a low battery life, and if that could improve, it would increase performance tenfold. It is a little bit thick and heavy, but with the great features such as the backlit screen and blu-ray player this latop is definitely worth it. Good job Toshiba!"

"The laptop performs tremendously. There was a complaint from one user about the buzzing sound from the speakers when the unit is moved. This is due to the HDD protection. You can turn it off and the sound won't happen when moving the laptop. Wish it had bluetooth, but happy with HDMI, BluRay, backlit keyboard,built in camera, and audio quality."

"I really like this laptop. I especially like the lighted keyboard since many times I operate in diminished light. The keyboard is comfortable and the keypad is great on this size laptop. I have to praise the weight of this computer. I have owned several other brands such as D... and H. and G. and this computer is lighter for its size than the others. It has great speakers. I think I like it better than any of the other brands that I have used."
