"The A665-s5199x is a good solid laptop. It is fast, the picture is clear and it has many great features. The Harman/kardon speaker sound great. This is a sturdy, fast easy to use laptop. My other Toshiba lasted over 8 years, so I believe in Toshba products."

"features are nice HD picture for movie is very clear ,dolby sounds beats all other laptops in the market /disadvantages bulky laptop not portable .you have to be hard in typing because keyboard can skip letters if you are gentle in typing ,battery life lasts around 2 hours overall value for the price is exellent"

"This is my first Toshiba laptop and I am very happy with it. I have owned a Dell and an HP. I didn't even know that Toshiba made computers until my sister bought one. The only problem I have is the battery life. It says 4 hours for the 6 cell but I have never gotten that much time on a full charge. I guess I will have to upgrade to bigger battery."

"While the computer generally functions fine, I have two major complaints. One, the battery doesn't even last 3 hours (it was advertised as lasing at least 4 hours). Two, I have to punch the keys on the keyboard harder than on any computer keyboard I've ever used before, and this slows down typing speed tremendously. I'm constantly skipping letters and having to go back and fill them in. A more minor problem is that the computer sometimes starts scrolling a document for no reason when I'm trying to point and click on something -- very annoying!"

"This is a great laptop except for the mouse click button is too loud. Maybe it wouldn't matter to some, but it drives me crazy. I don't really like double tapping mouse pad, I usually use the clickers but I may have to re-train myself to double tap! Otherwise it's been a very good laptop, nice sound out of speakers, good battery life, nice keyboard."

"I like my new laptop. The design and features seem to be well thought out. Had to call tech support for help with Sleep mode. They were helpful but I discovered on my own that the mouse I was using was not compatible & continued to run in the background keeping it from 'sleeping'. So be careful of the accessories you may buy. Also, the CD rom drive can't open fully if the power cord is plugged into the laptop. These are just minor inconveniences. Overall, I am pleased with this computer."

"I could never get the screen to look as good as my old Dell laptop. Despite much tinkering with the settings it always had an unnatural "sheen" to the screen. Also too much crapware on the computer from the factory. I returned the computer."

"Very fast computer and lightweight. Graphics are very good and like the imaging/Skype is great. A lot offered in this very reasonable priced notebook. Love it. Great Features. I feel it is an excellent product and would highly recommend it to anyone. Never owned a Toshiba before but would not hesitate to buy another. Also support is very helpful."

"I am loving the speed and features. My only issue is that my keys seem too stiff...I have to exert more pressure when typing than I am use to and have to continually go back and retype. Other than that I love it."

"Good med-high level laptop at a decent value. Great processor for running heavy stuff, great amount of RAM for multitasking. Side note: If anyone is getting blue screens on this laptop and has Zone Alarm firewall installed (free license version), try uninstalling it. So far has worked for me."

"Sounds funny but the keyboard I find very helpful. I constantly need to use 10-key in the field and the addition of that feature makes data entry much easier. Powerful processor, plenty of memory. My one aggravation is something peculiar to Toshiba laptops. My last Satellite also did this. For some reason, when I am typing, it jumps into some auto mode and displays some sort of up/down icon and I have to stop and clear it out of that mode to continure. May be my own ignorance of a "feature", but since I didn't specifically do anything on purpose to engage it, it's annoying. Other than a possilbe user error, it seems like it will serve me well for several years, which I why I finally went with W7, and I5 processor and Office 2010. Hopefully they will all be supported for the forseeable future."

"Great Performance, love the LED screen and spaced keybord. The "ECO" mode works very well and saves a lot of power :) I enjoy very much the DD (doby digital) Sound!!! No heating problems at all, something thats a problem on other pc's. May take a bit of time to get used to it, when replacing other Pc's. Great Power, Awesome Performance!!!"
