"This is Toshiba Laptop number five for me. Every one has given me flawless operation. In fact I am still using my last ond and my new one. The older one is slower, but still operating perfectly. If you need or want a laptop there are none better than Toshiba."

"Overall, I am pleased with the performance and features of this laptop. It has met every need that my family had. My only complaint, is the pre-installed Toshiba software. Though useful for some, I prefer to have a clean install of Windows, where I can then install what I will use most often. Since the laptop does not come with a basic install of Windows, and the recovery disk utility will copy the current configuration, I am stuck uninstalling these features I do not use. Time consuming and frustrating."

"Overall, I'm very pleased. The only areas I would work on are the keyboard and mouse. The mouse is very sensitive. It jumps and scrolls if brushed or touched wrong. Also, the screen image zooms in and out randomly. The keyboard is not sensitive enough! It misses keystrokes periodically. Also, it is loud."

"We were lucky that this computer was released about the time we were computer shopping. It's the first one I found with a USB 3.0 port. Other computers with USB 3.0 were in a much higher price range. There is much more "bang for the buck" than the Dell I was considering. This computer has a lot of horsepower, even though the graphics are intergrated, it will run my son's games, almost as good as his Alienware gaming computer. So far, no problems and we've used it daily for about a month. The only criticism is that the built in web cam has a poor quality picture. We use our external Logitech cam because it is so much better. Other than that, we are very happy and recommend this computer."

"All the ports should be positioned on the back of the computer. I use this on may lap quit a bit. When sitting in a chair with arms things like usb cables, thumb drives and the ac adapter wind up getting bumped alot which could possibly cause the ports to weaken and break from the mobo. I've had this happen on another laptop twice. With the ports on the back you don't have this problem. also when working with it on a desk it is mush neater having all the wires hidden behind."

"The features are very good, price is not cheap though. This laptop seems to be made for left handed people because the AC jack and DVD player is on the right side of the laptop. The USB plugs at the front of the laptop are really inconvenient and are placed right where your hand is when using the mouse. I was looking for a 14", blueray, with 7hr+ battery, but had to settle for this laptop. It is not as fast as I thought that it would be."

"I have bought it, it has dead slow hard drive. I cannot enjoy the speed of corei7 with 6GB ram. The hard drive has made this computer in the line of old pentium 4 line. I will have to purchase an extra SSD now. The engineering is BAD because you should not put 5400 rpm hard drive with core i7 ........"

"This is my third Toshiba. The first one with Win/95 still runs. The second one with XP is a workhorse. This model is living up to the others in terms of reliability and performance."
