"As someone transitioning from an XP computer, I have found this Toshiba to have the right combination of an i3 processor, 4GB memory, and price. I like the numeric keypad, and I'm still learning shortcuts. One "weak" spot is the light, flat plastic keyboard, compared to sturdier, raised keys on previous computers."

"What attracted me to this laptop was the technology vs. price. It was a very good price with updated technology from my previous (5 year old) Toshiba Satelite. My older Toshiba has waaaaaay better speakers and a larger screen and several other features I wish this computer had but it again is outdated. There fore, so far so good but the sound quality really is terrible."

"Had trouble creating recovery disc, called tech support they were very helpful explained that I needed to use DVD-R discs. Wish I knew that before I bought wrong discs the first time. Otherwise I like this laptop alot."

"Gamers probably would not prefer this model. Not being one, I find the C655 to be a solid performer for everything I do which includes work in Office and several proprietary graphic programs."

"This is the worst laptop I have owned. The main problem is organization of the keys. The space bar is too small and there are Alt keys flanking it on both sides. It is way too easy to accidently hit one of those and then the cursor jumps elsewhere. This is a big problem. One also loses e-mail text this way. Very frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I went on vacation and used my fathers Toshiba laptop and wow it didn't even compare to my desk top which is old and slow the quickness of the processor was amazing at that point I knew I had to have one and purchased mine a month after getting home and have enjoyed it ever since"

"my first laptop in college, downloaded windows 10 and went to work. I love the speed, movies for the kids over holidays, user friendly with setup program to start up all networking programs. Very user friencly for a 30 something going back to school with new technology. last computer class I had was in 1995 so my computer must be able to teach me the changes. Everything I use has a video tutorial and written instruictions for a fool proof working environment. Thanks"
