"Good basic value laptop. Wish the keyboard was backlit because the keys are hard to read and the touchpad area is hard to find when working at night; the screen does not light the keyboard. Also, the special character key symbols are to small and faint making them hard to read. I personally have no use for the separate numeric keypad but number crunchers will like it. The unit is solidly built and the performance has been good so far. The battery life is acceptable (approximately 4 to 5 hours) for my use but it could always be longer."
