"The laptop was a great value for the specs you get! The only thing at all I do not like are the speakers that are onboard. What sound you can get out of them, is very poor quality. In my experience, this is typical with most brands, but this is worst than others! That is why they make external speakers."

"DOA. Wouldn't even power up. I ruined my kids Crristmas with with the gift of a dead laptop. I own 3 Toshiba laptops and that is why I went with this one. Judging by the reviews, this model has a problem"

"My unit was DOA too. Failed to power up. Sent it back and received a replacement. The new one seems fine. Love the screen. Cursor pad is a bit sticky. I have had it for a few days and no problems so far!"

"Unit never powered up. Verified it was plugged in, power light (green) was lit. Fan ran for 2 seconds, hard drive never engaged. 70% of reviews posted at the site indicated the same situation."
