"This laptop is my 2nd Toshiba and was a replacement for the L455 from 2008. This one performs much better than the last one ex. This has a 5 hr. 30 min. battery life vs 2 hr. 30 min. on the old one. The new 2nd generation Intel Core i3 processor is much better and faster than the old Intel Inside Celeron 900. I have no complaints about either of the laptops if this one will last another four years I will definitely buy another Toshiba."

"The space bar is so small that it runs wordstogetherlikethis i cantype fast but thisiswhat happens, the space bar is not sensitive unless you hit it just the right spot . Compare lenght of your spacebar to others. Wish i had used it more before buying. Otherwise no complaints."

"This laptop continues to surprise me as I find features that make my work as a finance blogger so much easier. My fav feature is the battery life and quick start up. I would not go for a DVD drive if I had the choice and go for more USB ports. But this is a honey of a machine. Thanks, Toshiba"

"Overall this Toshiba laptop in my opinion is a good average laptop. It was within my budget and performs as I expected. It would have been nice to have 6 gigs of ram rather than 4 gigs. I've had to install the extra gigs myself to give me the extra ram needed for work."

"This is my first laptop, and I must say I'm pleased with its performance so far. I don't do anything "fancy" on it (mostly emails, blogs, and Internet searches), but I will say it is faster loading than the desktop it replaced. Although I do have a keyboard hooked up to it (simply because that's what I'm used to), I like the full-size keyboard and keypad. One negative comes to mind: The volume is very poor -- it's a little static-y and not nearly loud enough. I had to purchase separate speakers."
