"We used to have an extremely old Dell desktop. It could hardly even handle getting on the internet without crashing. This laptop is infinitely better. We haven't experienced any problems while on it."

"Good price for a basic laptop. Have a Toshiba netbook that I have dropped and abused yet it still keeps going, so I like the brand. This laptop is slow but what do you expect for the price? Display is nice, 10-key numeric keyboard is a bonus. Sometimes the mouse pointer jumps around or it changes pages, which is a problem. If you can afford more, I would go for an upgraded model."

"This is the best laptop I have ever owned and I love windows 7 ! This the best laptop that I have ever had and lot better than my HP that I bought in the 1990's! And it is a dual core that really flies. So much faster than my old desktop is. But to make it even faster I may put Ubuntu on it since it gets no virues that I am aware of plus it runs 6 months before you have to reboot it. I really am glad that my wife bought it for me. And it has a lot of great software that comes with it too! The longest I ran the laptop on the laptop is 3 hrs, it could be run longer but I don't know how long that is!

"This Toshiba just wasn't quite what i was looking for, It was however very inexpensive and if you wanted a great looking laptop for email and normal web browsing you would be completely satisfied !! I just wanted something for a few Facebook games and youtube music videos but it just didn't seem to want to handle them very well :( so I brought it back and went with a Helios L655-S5156 Toshiba and couldn't be happier !!!! The Toshiba is a great laptop no matter what model you buy just certain models are better at certain things !!"

"I have not had any problems with the laptop,I have enjoyed that "I am able to take it with me anywhere and use this as long as I have internet. It was easy to set and and have not had any problems with anything on the computer. Good Product!"

"I purchased this laptop mainly for the webcam and when i turned on the web cam its so dark i didnt think i had the camera on if it wasnt for the blue light i would think it never came on so for that reason i think that they should have a solution for this to either give the customers that purchased this model a free webcam that works well even in low light or we should be able to send it in to toshiba and they replace the camera with a better camera that would make me so happy and I would refer everyone i came in contact with about the Satellite C655D-S5130 Laptop but other then that its a good product for the price but they have to fix the web cam asap!!! so if u buying a laptop for web cam dont waste your money seriously!!!"

"This is the first laptop I have owned and I really like it. The only thing I wish was different is that the power cord plugs in on the right and the USB ports are on the left. I use a mouse and it is awkward to run the cord in front. I think I will end up purchasing a wireless mouse."

"This is the best laptop I have ever had. The battery life is around 3 hours and I just got this laptop this morning, It has a full keyboard. Windows 7 home premium is very nice, and while windows vista takes a long time to start up, windows 7 doesn't take long. If you are looking for a laptop good for skype, just keep in mind that this laptop has a very basic webcam. Once you get the laptop, make sure you peel off the webcam and microphone protective layer and it should make the camera a little more clear. Then just mess around with some settings and it's good to go."

"I shopped several brands before settling on this one. I've used other brands previously. In comparing features, memory, battery life, etc. Toshiba was the best buy.
After using it for just a little over a month now, the only problem I have is the keyboard design. I keep hitting the mouse with my hand as I'm typing. A co-worker finally disabled the keyboard mouse, as I use a cordless anyway. However, I must disable every time I reboot the computer, as it does not carry over. I consider this more of an irritant than a major problem, but it does delay my ability to get something done quickly if I'm in a hurry."

"I needed an upgrade. Had an "old" desktop and wanted a much needed laptop. I researched them all, Laptops are a luxury for me in these times. Long story very shortened. This laptop was not even on my list. After going to several stores and not finding any of my choices I "settled" for this Toshiba. I just can not get over the ease of use! It's PERFECT for what I do. Online gaming, surfing, paying bills. I have only had it for 3 days (counting today) and I have used it VERY heavily (6 hr breaks at the most) practicly non stop. The battery is unbelieveable for longevity! All in all I am in shock & awe at what an awesome machine this is!"
