"This laptop is so user friendly and convenient that I find myself using it for most of the day, as opposed to my previous desktop which I only used for e-mails and information search. The Toshiba tech support is superior in every way and it is a pleasure to speak to people who are patient, kind and knowledgable."

"its a good computer i love it so far i have had it less than a week but one thing i notice i hate is the battery life it says 6 hours? i turn everything to the minimun and most it last at least 2 hours. also i dont know if i got a bad unit or something but the screen is showing some random marks they come and go i dont think its serious and im waiting to see if there is something else wrong with it before i try to send it to toshiba for the one year warranty"

"After my five year old HP laptop passed away, I bought a Toshiba laptop to replace it. The low purchase price and Toshiba's good reputation really drove my decision. I mostly use my laptop at home to surf the web and check email, so I did not need a high-capability computer for gaming or other fancy activities. Sadly, after less than a month the hard drive failed. Yes, the computer is covered by a one year warranty and I do plan on pursuing replacement, but the hard drive should have lasted longer than a month."

"I may have gotten a good price for this computer, but it has been one hassle after another. I can out-type it, and it drags like nobody's business. I took it back to the store for "help" and it did no good. It gets slower the longer I use it. I don't know whether I got a bad unit or not, but I'm returning it after two weeks and not getting another one. Also, the battery life says it will give 6 hours and I have yet to get as much as 3 hours out of this one."

"I have thus far been pleasantly surprised by my new Toshiba laptop. Like anything new, it takes a little getting used to, however it's very user friendly. The speakers are little low in volume, so the laptop requires additional speakers for example when watching a movie."
