"This is an average, very slow performing computer. I cannot print on my home printer as this computer/laptop doesn't recognize our printer??!! I miss my 3 yearold computer that way outperformed this one."

"Really like this lap top and think it is a great value for the money. I wish that it had the microsoft package on it, though. I am currently out of the US and will have to have the software retro-loaded when I get home."

"I purchased the C655 to control the video projector used at the church I attend. Cost constraints limited my purchase options and the C655 seemed adequate. However, in use the C655 is slow, the video connector has no screw mounts and the touch pad cannot be turned off in favor of an external mouse. We replaced an old ACER (6-7 years old). The ACER was much faster."

"My desk top crashed, so I bought this laptop so I could get on line to pay my bills!! This is the first laptop I've owned, and I find it so much more convenient. The keyboard is so easy to type on, just the right "feel"!"

"This is my first laptop and I have to say, it's been a very good choice. The only thing I would suggest as far as features and functions is the ability to have to touchpad (mouse) stop function while typing instead of hitting FN+F9 repeatedly. Also, it would be absolutely awesome to have a light up keyboard. As a fan of XP, i have to say I was disappointed to have to switch to 7 but, it seems ok. (SO FAR ;) )"

"This product is about average. I do love the numerical keyboard. It allows me more flexibility in using numeric characters. The performance is about average. I am disappointed that the model i purchased does not have the built in webcam. It has a model with the webcam that i was not aware of prior to my purchase. However, for the price, i would recommend this one to a friend."

"For an internet machine this is a good value if you get it on sale, but it does not hold a candle to any other dual processor system. Its limited power will not make it a good buy for most customers.1Ghz might be okay for a tablet, but not for a laptop in 2011."

"As far as entry level laptops go, Toshiba has brought an incredible laptop to market again. The HD screen is amazing as is the 10 key that one would normally expect on a business class laptop. A six hour battery virtually guarantees that you have all the productive time you need. I'm not really thrilled with the ebook and apps library software that was included but that was easily remedied and removed. The 250 GB hard disk is perfect for most college students. I would most definitely recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a computer for a student."
