"Other than the hard drive completely shutting my computer down after only using it for 2 weeks for basic everyday things like checking emails, I would recommend this laptop. I loved the features, ease of use, speed and memory. I was however disappointed to have to return it after 2 weeks of use and then find out that I could not get another new identical one because there were literally none available either in another store or online."

"This is my second Toshiba. I loved the first one but it cost much more than this one. The sound on this one is twangy from time to time. The cursor moves around inconveniently on it's own and when you type the print follows very slowly at times. Still, good for the price. I love the fact that although it is a lap top, I can actually use it on my lap without it burning my legs as every other lap top I have ever had has done. It stays cool."

"I purchased this laptop to replace a laptop that went went down on me.Figured i would get something on the lower end of the laptop chain until i get the one i really want.Laptop really surprised me.Does everything i need done.I see no need in purchasing another laptop as of now"

"I am very frustrated with this laptop. While the fact that it is even slower than the 'old' one I gave my four year old doesn't really bother me, this NEW laptop freezes up for no reason! I've lost emails I have been in the middle of composing because the computer locks up. VERY disappointed in this brand."

"The laptop tends to freeze if I have more than one tab open at any given time. Lately the screen also seems to be faltering in its resolution. For an absolutely new laptop this is worrisome."

"This is my first laptop and first with windows 7. I am happy with the overall performance of my laptop and still getting used to windows 7 and the flat keyboard. I will admit I still prefer my old desktop with easier to use keyboard (no flat keys) and xp. I guess I'm starting to show my age here. However, for the money and convienience of room and portabillity, I am very satisfied with this toshiba satellite laptop. I would reccomend this to my friends."

"My first win7 experience.A vast improvement over my old Dell.Fast. Still can't do everything I did with winXP,but am doing things I couldn't with XP.Learning. Still don't have display adjusted to my liking.HDMI port & another USB would be nice."
