"So far,less than a month after purchase, I am still learning all the things the C655 can do for me. I wish that Toshiba had included a printed, or even ondisk, instruction manual. Spending too much tiemin trial and error especially since Windows 7 is new to me, I was so comfortablke with XP. Oh wellot Toshiba's fault."

"Got this laptop for my nephew, he had it 42 days, never dropped it or mishandled it and there is a crack in the screen. I have seen on MANY forums that Toshiba screens can be defective and that Toshiba will not fix an LCD problem at any point. I got a Toshiba at the same time, am returning mine before I can't. This computer is a piece of trash and not worth the 300.00 I spent on it, let alone the 300 doorstop my nephews machine became."

"I highly recommend Toshiba products. I've owned a Toshiba laptop since 2006 and it's still operating. We now have 3 Toshiba Laptops in our home, one for each family member and wouldn't buy any other brand!! I'm extremely satisfied."

"This is one of Toshiba's lower end products at a great price. As a retiree, I need a laptop for travel that isn't too large, yet the display must be crisp and clear. This more than meets my needs. The WiFi works well and download speed is obviously limited by the internet connection, not the laptop."

"I have had about 4 laptops in the last 7 years, and this particular model is the biggest disappointment. My fiance bought this for me trying to be nice when my Dell computer died. He should have saved his money. This computer has done nothing but cause me frustration. I have had a Toshiba (higher end), 2 Dells and a Sony, and this is definitely the worst. It runs so slowly that you think its dead..it cannot load the simplest websites without making you wait. The mouse pad is so hard to push the keys that its just ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this to ANYONE. Save your money."

"I like everything about this laptop with the exception of one thing. It likes to attract the hair from my dogs. It would be nicer if it wasn't so electrified. Otherwise it is doing everything I have asked it to do and set up wasn't difficult at all."
