"This isn't a bad laptop, especially for the price. But the mouse pad is right in the way while typing and there is no option to disable the pad without also disabling the entire keyboard. This one thing would prevent me from seriously recommending it, or buying another even with the great price."

"Since most people are right handed and many use a wireless mouse with a laptop... it was a big oversight not to have a USB port on the right side of the laptop. My mouse would not be consistent using the left ports. I had to replace it. Other than that... the laptop has worked perfectly. Nice and light for a large screen laptop."

"I had a Toshiba for 5 years until I had to replace it. It worked well without any problems for 5 years. I bought another Toshiba, thinking I would have another good experience.(C655D-S5531). What a mistake! The processing speed is VERY SLOW. It freezes frequently making it difficult to use for daily activities-VERY FRUSTRATING! I would never recommend this model to anyone. I would like my money back."

"I purchased this laptop to replace a 2-year-old model. This laptop runs so slow that I often use my older model. I now have to purchase upgrades and pay fees for service to bring this up to speed. If it weren't for the reshelving fee, I would have just returned it to the store."
