"It is a good laptop. The downside for me is the lack of more USB ports, and the awful sound quality of the built in speakers. I use my computer mostly for web design but do some music production. Overall a great laptop and a good value."

"The Good: I am happy with the good screen and overall performance. The keyboard feels great too. It is a good basic home computer. I upgraded the ram to 8GB very easily. Battery life is decent but noticeably shorter than my previous (and smaller laptops). The Bad: 2 USB ports only. 4 should be standard. The casing is plastic and design is a bit dull but I can live with that with a laptop in this price range. The built-in speakers sound bad as built-in speakers usually do. I use headphones or 2.1 speaker system. Overall it is a great computer for everyday use. Some games will run just fine on this. I produce electronic music on mine so I think the dual core CPU and hefty memory are sufficient."

"The size is just right. The 17.3 screen is easy to read, and it does not make the laptop cumbersome. The battery has not let me down yet. I do wish it had 4 USB instead of 2 and a slot for SD cards. The keyboard is better than any I hve used."

"I love my Toshiba Laptop. The 17inch screen is so nice. It is thin and lightweight, which makes it easy to take with me where ever I go. It has a great battery life, so I don't have to worry about loosing power if I'm out and about."

"I've been using it for about a month and have nothing bad to say about it. The HD display is amazing. The speed is great, when you consider I went from a 1.7 Celeron with 128mb memory. I gave "Features" 4 stars for three reasons. 1) I like a mouse rather than a touchpad, but that's just a personal preference, 2) The speakers could be better, and 3) No modem. I'm on dial-up. But those are minor things. it's a great laptop and I would definitely buy another one."

"I have been looking at buying a laptop for awhile now & it was going to be a Toshiba product. The reason why was my VCR's & DVD players were Toshiba and I had gotten my money's worth out of them before they had to be replaced. This told that they make good quality product."

"I love the system, Love the size of keys on keypad and typing response. 17" screen is fabuloius. My old system was 10 years old, even so, it was not as responsive to my touch. Regardless ,the speed of response is great."
