"This laptop has an excellent battery life with the Toshiba Eco Utility. Good speed and great screen. I also appreciate the 10-key pad that's built into the keyboard. It's also very easy to access the hard drive and memory behind one panel on the bottom. My only complaint? The function keys. Instead of holding "Fn" and tapping, say, "mute" you just tap "mute". For the F1-F-12 keys, you have to hold down "Fn" then tap the key you want. Example: "Fn+F1" would be the same as "F1" for "help" in most programs. For those of us that like to use "Alt+F4" to close a window, you must hold down "Fn+Alt+F4" which is very awkward. Other than that, I'm very happy with this laptop! :)"

"I have had this laptop for a month now. I am very pleased with it so far. This laptop will boot up very quickly, as well as shut down quickly. The quaility of the monitor is excellent. It does everything I need a laptop to do. I do not play video games, so I cannot rate the preformance of gaming. From what I have been told you would probably need a laptop with an I5 or I7 proceesor for great gaming options. The one down side of this laptop is that the door to the DVD/CD drive is difficult to open. The speakers are average to below average at best, but for the price you cannot expect quality speakers. The battery life is OK but not great. Overall I think this is a very good laptop as long as you are not looking to play complex video games or want a laptop with great speakers. I would recommend you purchase one if it meets the requirments you are looking for. I am glad I did not buy a laptop that cost twice as much."

"Speakers are extremely tinny and poor. Computer comes pre-loaded with all sorts of garbage from Norton that keeps harassing its users to buy their software. Screen resolution is only 1366x768. Extremely low compared to what I am use to with my Macbook from 2 years ago."

"I was surprised to learn that this LapTop had full 3D capabilities right out the box! And it surfs the web super fast and starts up the same way. And play's almost any game you want very well and does even better with videos. The only gripe I have is the speaker quality could be better aswell as the sound with headphones! Otherwise get this computer and be amazed!"

"This computer works well--I love the keyboard feel. However, this morning I turned it on and it shut itself off. Said there was a problem and it had to be restarted in safe mode. Then I couldn't open any programs until I started it completely over. Didn't understand this. My granddaughter had a laptop just like this one for about 6 months before it died compleltely. I'm not sure what I think about all this."

"The hardware is good and the laptop performs well in the computing department. The screen could have a little better resolution. I like the size and the full keyboard. I use this for my business and as I am in the field quite a bit it replaces my desktop fairly well. The major issue that I have is the sound system. The speakers are very poor quality. Watching training videos and such requires me to use headphones. I know it seems trivial. Overall for the price it is a good computer for someone on a budget. If the speakers are not an issue, I recommend it."

"I haven't had it too long yet, but I've always heard good things about Toshiba. My family loves the brand because it is very reliable and well-built. I love this laptop because it is light and user-friendly. The graphics are wonderful. I mostly use it for surfing the internet and photoshop. The battery life is very good based on what I do with it. I would definitely recommend Toshiba overall."
