"seriously, I finally decided to upgrade and the computer seemed to work okay for the first couple weeks, then the mouse started freezing every once in a while, now I can't get past the signon screen without it disappearing all together -- very frustrated, just purchased an expensive paperweight!!! Not sure I'll buy Toshiba again - this was my first purchase."

"I received this laptop for Christmas. I was hoping for a MacBook. But I am definitely satisfied with this. if you are looking for a fast dependable laptop, this or any of the Toshiba c850 series would be a great choice. It takes some time getting used to Windows 8 but its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. The camera has horrible quality and its hard to not swipe between screens with the mousepad but besides that there is definitely nothing bad to say about this laptop."

"Computer is very nice. Windows 8 is a total unmitigated disaster! After 5 days of trying to figure out how to run basic functions on W-8, it refuses to boot. Searched online but none of the solutions work to get it to a repairable functionality like previous Windows versions. Taking computer back for one with Windows 7."
