"For the money it's outstanding. 17" screen is awesome. I didn't give it 5 stars because if you bought the lap top to type with, you're going to have some problems. Space bar is small, keys have to be touched in the exact middle other wise they do not register. How ever you do get a full numeric keypad to the right. For bill paying and surfing the net and even some gaming the lap top is awesome. Keep In mind you are buying this lap top for an economical 17". Plastic is thin and a little flimsy."

"I needed a second laptop for my wife. Being a senior, we chose the larger screen. We have another Toshiba laptop 3 years older that we absolutely LOVE. The features on this new laptop are great EXCEPT Windows 8. Perhaps it's because we are navigating the new windows without instructions that make it seem unfriendly. I would have preferred Windows 7 OR some detailed tutelage on how to usse Windows 8 from the company."

"You know the old "you get what you pay for" that is this laptop no bells or whistles. I purchased this laptop to replace a Toshiba that died after 5 years of great service to my company, thinking that I would get that great machine. Windows 8 is weird and hard to run and does not run important software that I need for my business. Love the screen and the keyboard, mouse is hard to use also the F keys are duel use but hard to use you don't know when the FN key is locked and can turn things off that you need, not happy with this laptop save you money!"

"I HAVE OWNED A TOSHIBA SATELLITE LAPTOP FOR OVER TEN YEARS, NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM. THE NEWER TOSHIBA SATELLITE MODEL#C870 APPEARS TO BE EQUAL IN QUALITY AND WITH GREATELY IMPOVED FEATURES."
