"I don't care for the flat keys. I did not know that they wouldn't be raised. Other wise I like many of the other features. Still trying to get used to Windows 8."

"I like the product overall but it lacks in processing speed I find myself constantly having to close out of programs and restarting my computer due to freezing. I have not downloaded anything to the computer to slow it down and I rarely use the internet. Everything else Is fine but the processor. I have the Satellite made right before this one with windows seven and have no issues. I have expertise in this area based on the fact I am a computer programmer. perhaps a reformation of the operating system is in order?"

"I love the 17 inch screen, the numbers keypad, light weight, battery life and overall performance. This Laptop came with Window 8 as the Operating System and lots and lots of apps. I am very proficient on Windows 7 and XP Pro but must admit that Win 8 was a new challenge. It is totally different! Frankly It seems to be designed for those who go around starring at their smart phone or I-Pad The apps are mostly games and "fun stuff" with a few practical apps like a dictionary and a few more learning tools. For me, it was just loaded with what I consider useless junk, but that is Win 8 and not Toshiba.."
