"Like this product very much. 2things I have issue with is the space bar not working well and the mouse is quite erratic even after I changed the settings. Love the back light for the keyboard! Love that you can turn off the mouse while typing! Overall worth the money."

"Out of the box the laptop was easy to set up and use. I am using it when I travel to do school work. It is fast and the screen is pretty good. It seems bigger than 14 inches. I upgraded the memory to 8 gb which improve the speed some. The only downside is the computer could use a better graphics processor and dedicated graphics ram. That is why the overall rating is 4 stars instead of 5. If you don't need high power graphics then this is a 5 star machine."

"We like the lighted keys. Smaller but with a very bright screen. Still trying to get accustomed to the smaller keyboard. We have always been very happy with our Toshiba laptops."

"The right and left mouse click are positioned a little to low so it makes it a little awkward to hit the right or left mouse click. Also, the screen shouldn't dim and then undim itself so quickly. Other than those small features the computer is great"

"So far, I am still adapting to the new laptop. The touch pad and 'mouse buttons' are interesting. The touch pad has features (that may be WIN7 additions) that are useful, such as expanding and shrinking screens. I really like the on-off button as I use a wireless mouse quite a bit. The 'mouse buttons' on the laptop could use some attention. They have a much heavier touch than my other Toshiba laptops. The space bar also require a very deliberate touch that I have yet to adapt to. The backlit keyboard is awesome. It, and the Toshiba name sold me on this laptop"

"While the features of this product are good, the quality is not. I purchased one and had to take it back the same day because the DVD drive did not work. The replacement computer, the one I am writing this on, has a bad space bar - it doesn't work about 30% of the time unless you press a pretty precise area. But, I am sick of loading programs and being "down" because of this, so I have decided to live with this malfunction and retrain myself to hit the space bar in an area that works - still working on it. I do not recommend Toshiba."

"This is my second laptop that I have purchased. This laptop is good for use on the go, has impressive battery life when used properly, and has many impressive features such as, the ability to wirelessly stream 720P to HD TV's that are able to receive WiFi transmitted HD Video. Your 1080P HD video will work too it will just be downscaled to 720P (It will still look fine. It is harder to tell the minute differences at that great of resolution anyway!) The other notable thing about this laptop is its ability to be a wireless access point (a router or MyFi ) for other computers and devices to connect to the internet. This can really come in handy if many people in your group want to get on the internet and you only have one ethernet connection. Basically if you can connect this laptop to the internet, then you can use this laptop as a wireless access point *router* for other computers to also connect to the internet. This feature can be disabled or enabled at any time. In conclusion I would recommend this to someone requiring a smaller, lighter, newer laptop for college or business use. If you love consuming media you will like this laptop but don't expect the speakers to sound like they are made by Bose."

"Great Laptop--Love the backlit keyboard. I have had about five laptops, including: 2 Dell; 1 HP; and 1 Sony. The Toshiba E205 laptop is by far my favorite..."

"I won't repeat what other reviews have said about the laptop. It's excellent unless you want to do high end gaming. However, it's bundled with the Netgear adapter for wireless display to a TV as a selling point, If a product is aimed to the general consumer, it should be simple and fool proof. The technology works perfectly, after a firmware upgrade to the adapter, a software upgrade to the Wireless Display software, separate upgrades to 2 Intel wireless drivers, and the a patch from Intel to get the dedicated Wireless Display button on the laptop to work again. (The last patch was on Intel's site, but not Toshiba's, although it is specific to this Toshiba model.) I visited 5 or more sites to put all of this together. Intel and Toshiba should not be making it this difficult. It's no wonder I've seen "Wireless Display won't work" reviews for this laptop.Too bad; now that it's working I'm wondering if I this is the technology that will do to cable TV what cell phones have done to land lines."
