"Well I got this as a replacement to a 17inch monster and I have been very pleased, I must say though that the bloatware needs to be toned down a bit, optimus can be confusing to some and it tends to heat way up if you game at all my advice is to forceware using the 310m through nvidia control panel its easy and only needs to be done once per game, better graphics and for like SC2 which i get to play on ultra now @25-40 fps it sits aroun 70c instead of 80-90c with optimus overdriving the cpu. not toshibas fault though. Bloatware is horrible though guys cut it out or tone it down please. otherwise its a little beast of a machine and tears up a few of my friends "gaming" laptops that they paid 500-800$ more for."

"The laptop works well, I especially like the backlit keyboard. The bar below the scroll pad has a heavy touch. With arthritis it is only easy for me to use in a two handed method. I may use a mouse with it instead. Also, I feel the keyboard is a bit 'touchy' as I have had it enter a character over which my finger hovered rather than touched."

"Initially the laptop was great, but then it started having issues at boot-up. Now, about 4 times, its frozen at boot-up and does not start. I've only had the laptop about a month so that is really unacceptable. Also, toshiba has so much running on it initially that it causes some lag issues. I've had to uninstall some of the toshiba-installed programs."

"Thank you Toshiba for having tech support at no extra charge. I’m new to W7 and had some questions. So, to my surprise they all were answered at toll free number at Toshiba support. No waiting and the tech was knowledgeable. Overall I'm happy with my decision of purchasing Toshiba. I had Dell's in past. Toshiba is as good or even better. Thank you, Toshiba."

"The level of organization that has gone into the E205, the features available on the laptop, the web site and product specific links to accessories, as well as the support available on the site combined with the fantastic pricing and Intel wireless display adapter bundle have come together to make me very happy with my purchase. The only changes that need to be made are to add internal Bluetooth, swap the Blue-ray for the DVD and add a finger print scanner."

"So far, this laptop has been great. I had a few issues with getting the keyboard lights to come on, but eventually my step dad figured out how to make it work. Other than that, I love it."
