"I wanted small, and powerful. I got it. Yea the speakers, I know, but I'm a power user, and as a tech tool out in the field, or for running processor intensive programs, it's about the best thing your going to find in a 13 inch shell! gigabit Lan, bluetooth, a good burner, eSata port, it has everything I needed to be used for tech support out in peoples homes. and when i'm home, I plug in some usb speakers when I do want to entertain myself."

"I chose this Toshiba since I have had two previous Toshiba's which I have been very happy with. This one is huge disappointment. The speakers are horrible - I can't get enough sound out of them to hear video's and what sound there is is really horrible. Even though I have only had it a few weeks, it has already had trouble starting - needing to check the disks for some unknown reason. My son was able to keep the hard drive impact sensor from parking the hard drive to a safe place every time I touched it. Windows 7 is also a great disappointment and makes using the computer even harder. Pre-installed items were also not those I would personally choose for my computer so that added a lot of set up time to remove them."

"I like this laptop because it is small, relative light, and fast. It also has very good battery life. The only downside is the inadequate maximum volume level of the built in speakers."
