"I've had my laptop for less than a month, but so far it seems fine. My only concern is with the battery life. It shut down once with no warning, and I thought I should have had more time left. I guess I'll have to see."

"Slightly pricier than the competition. Light weight laptop, good ergonomics, equipped with all necessary interfaces including, HDMI, Bluetooth and eSATA . Keyboard layout is nice, with no half keys, frequently used keys placed in the right position, almost like using a full desktop keyboard. function keys are well thought out and conveniently activated. Thermal design appears adequate, though I'd be careful where I place the laptop, no fallback vents in case bottom vent get blocked. Lots of useless pre-installed junk programs which can be uninstalled. I hope the battery life-expectancy is not as sub-standard as my earlier Toshiba. One MAJOR FLAW - I find the WLAN interface crashes after waking up from sleep/hibernation, at which point will not reconnect to access point and needs power cycling - happens quite often. This maybe a driver/windows issue - any fix out there yet?"

"Overall, after 6 weeks of use, very pleased with this new laptop. It's not as solid feeling as my previous dell laptop, but so far it's more reliable. A comment: When they say "standard speakers," it is apparently code for HORRIBLE speakers. This was important to me, but I couldn't find a better solution in this price range. So I use headphones or external speakers."
