"Still getting used to laptop. Touchpad is a bit sensitive. Discovered that it is not compatible with printer/copier/fax machine that I just bought 2 years ago. Probably due to Windows 2010. This was not mentioned to me when I made the purchase. Battery life OK. Locks up if left unused for about 10 minutes."

"Bought Toshiba laptop for my wife, so she could check emails, etc. while I am on desktop computer. Also use it when travel. Good unit and Thoshiba has an excellent reputation for laptop reliability. We will see."

"The best feature of this computer is its light weight and it has decent performance. Overall, I am very happy with this computer. However, I made some compromises to get the lower weight. One is there is no phone modem port. Although I would seldom use it, I still need this capability to get on the internet from some locations without a high speed internet portal, like my mother's home. I also would have liked one more USB port. It has three, one combined with an E-SATA port. The big drawback of this arrangement is that the two dedicated USB ports are located on the right front corner of the computer where devices plugged into them intefere with mouse usage in tight spaces. I think many people are perfectly happy to use the touch pad, but I prefer a mouse whenever possible. I also use a USB laptop cooling fan, which I plug into one of these dedicated USB ports and the wire gets in the way of my wrist when using the mouse. It would have been better if these ports were located on the back corner of either the left or right side of the computer. HP locates their USB ports there and I never had a problem with that on previous HP laptops I have used. The lack of a Blu-ray player may be something I wish I had in the future, but it was not a big factor in my decision to buy this computer."

"I had a Toshiba laptop for years and it was crashed due to a virus my friend (yeah right) sent me. My husband bought this new one for Christmas and I like it. Very nice touch. Only trouble I am having is the keypad to the far left, the cat sits on my chest and I have trouble getting around him."

"GOOD LAPTOP FOR THE MONEY, FAST AND QUICK, GREAT BATTERY LIFE, ONLY THING I FOUND IS THAT THE SPEAKERS AREN 'T UP TO PAR CONSIDERING HOW WELL THE LAPTOP IS BUILT AND THE PERFORMANCE IT GIVES"
