"I purchased this laptop to replace and older Dell with a broken power cord connector at the motherboard. Within a few months, the power connector on this new Toshiba was already loose at the motherboard. I have also experienced frequent dropped Wifi connections that seem to be attributed to the Realtek RTL8188CE wifi PCI-E that seems to be a common problem in Toshiba laptops. Another annoyance is the touchpad and scroll feature which I have yet to master. Perfromance and Windows 7 are excellent on this machine but the problems listed above are making me question my purchase decision."

"This being my first laptop, I had a hard time using the fingertip pad. I ended up getting an optical mouse and am quite happy with that. The keyboard is as easy to use as a desktop. The shiny exterior is beautiful, but fingerprints show up easily."

"I bought this laptop at a great price to replace a Satellite A215 series. Wasnt sure if I would get another Toshiba with my old lap top running slow and freezing up a lot. But, this Satellite is much better. It is lighter, faster and doesnt have the problems my old laptop had. It has plenty of memory and hard drive space. So far it has been a great buy, and I'm glad I purchased it."

"Having tired to use a small netbook while traveling on business, I soon found it to really be inadequate for my needs. Researched the larger and faster notebooks and made a great purchase in the 15.6" Toshiba Satellite L655-S5154. It's packed with all the right features for medium duty service for business use and it's fun to use when the hard work is done. Have had it for over 5 weeks now with absolutely no problems. I love it and am now a loyal Toshiba customer."

"Didn't know much about Toshiba Laptops because I've always had HP's. I'm pleasantly surprised. If this performance keeps up I most definitely would buy another. Also love the extra features (EBook Reader) etc."

"The only issue I have is when I go to move the page up or down using the bar at the right side or any where on the page that I'm looking at, a smaller bar shows up & automatically moves the page up or down & I'm hardly touching the key for it to move, but other than that, I really enjoy using my laptop."
