"Bought this so I would have something to program on while my wife is on the desktop. It's fast and has plenty of RAM for my needs (and Borland's Delphi 7 compilier needs sufficient memory). Wireless connectivity is good even out on the patio. Keyboard has normal sized keys and you don't need tiny fingers, This Satellite suits me just fine."

"I have been extremely pleased with this laptop. It starts up and shuts down quickly and programs run well. It didn't come with too much "junk" software, meaning I had very little to uninstall when the laptop arrived. I know that some people are not fans of the mouse pad but I am left handed and I actually find its placement to the center-left of the laptop convenient. Keep in mind that it is centered under the keyboard (not under the number pad) so actually it is centered if the standard keyboard is what you use most. My only complaint would be battery life. The battery isn't terrible by any means, but I always hope for longer battery life than most laptops offer. The only people I wouldn't recommend this laptop for are gamers. If they look at the specs I'm sure they'll see they need something with better graphics and more power. However, for most users this laptop can do everything you need at an incredible price."

"We now own 3 Toshiba laptops. The first one was purchased over a year ago. They just keep getting better. My latest one has even more features and now LED display lighting. We love the finishes and colors of the cases, overall quality and their configuration for the price."

"If you play Facebook games, do not buy this laptop until they update the graphics driver! I dont like that you can see the oil from my finger tips, so for security, not a good buy unless you like to clean it after each use. I would have perfered that the keys light up and that is not this model. For youtube and other video viewing site, there are few changes that need to be made for it work properly. Overall, for everyday use, this is a decent laptop."

"This is my fourth computer and my second laptop. This one is the best so far. This is not surprising, because I keep my computers until they're all played out. Meanwhile, therefore, all newer computers have had countless innovations added and perfected. I especially like the feel of the keyboard and the smooth external contours. It's light, easily portable, and the battery life is much better than my old one's. I purchased mine online, and it cost much less than I was expecting to pay."

"Satellite L655-S5156 so far so good, would recommend. I don't store alot of stuff on my laptop besides music. For the price you can't go wrong are my thoughts."

"Great laptop; only used to buy Dell but have converted to Toshiba. Only problems I've had were related to Windows and IE9."
