"the battery is pretty atrocious. I've literally had it 6 months today, and the battery is dead, so no I've got to be jacked into a wall until I get a replacement. Othewise, a great machine...runs Starcraft 2 on max settings with ease."

"Exceeded my expectations greatly. I was short on money and needed a new machine instantly, chose L650-1NU (as marked in EU)) since it has v.good CPU, fast ram, PoWeRfull graph card and big HDD - just what I needed. I admit that first thing I did was to reinstall OS without all that manufacturers not-worth-a-dime soft - it only slows down the system and consumes mass amounts of energy. But after this operation I am able to work 3 hrs on battery on full power (100% cpu and brightness) or play newest games (Witcher2) on full details - there is no other machine in this price that can do that. I'm actually glad it doesn't have BR since in VOD and renting em on the net it's not necessary, and would only escalate price. The only thing I'm missing is USB 3.0 but for the price I paid - I'm not complaining about that. This is really excellent machine, meets all possible expectations and (unless you need BR and USB3.0) in this price range - you won't get anything better."

"this product is not bad, but eco utility gives always errors, even reinstall it. also there is one thing which makes me annoying is battery life is not long as its written on the specs. only up to 2 hours it is. not 4 h. if you need long battery life laptop, don't choice it. that's my recommendation. other thins in the laptop is nice, very fast, and working very silence, very good display, nice keyboard, very stylish design ... so on."

"Reliable, well built laptop. Touch pad can be a little squirrely for scrolling up and down. Fairly fast, nice graphics, but not being used for graphics intensive games. Decent battery life. Windows 7 is more robust then XP."

"The laptop looks very sleek and simple. It is very fast, takes maybe a minute and a half or less to get to the desktop. Runs games well, Mass Effect 2, Oblivion, and Half-Life 2 expansions, and War for Cybertron all play well on the recommend/above settings. I'd say the computer is well priced for everything I wanted, which is what I got with this laptop. Not much bloat ware in my opinion. The computers battery life is long which is great as well. This laptop is very quiet and almost never gets hot at all while playing games or any other task. The only bad thing was I had to send the laptop back at first because windows quit working and blue screened. However, I got a new one and this one works beautifully, no problems what so ever. The web cam is not too good, but I don't really use it anyways. Another bad thing , in my opinion, is the location of the plug in for the battery charger.The outside of the laptop and area around the mouse pad do tend to get many fingerprints on them, but I'm fine with it."
