"My battery life only works for 1 hour, I think that it is a poor performance, I have bought others toshiba computers before this one, however I don't think that I'll buy another one in the future, I'm very dissapoint with this one."

"Overall I'm completely satisfied with the computer. Only two minor complaints: First the 48 Whr battery supplied with the computer is next to useless. Battery life is extremely short. The 98 Whr upgraded battery is much much better. Second complaint: Too much junk pre-installed on the computer. I guess Toshiba makes some money by installing a lot of demo software, but it would be better if it was all on a disk so the user could decide what he wants to install."

"What a major upgrade from my 6 year old laptop! This computer is not only easy on the eyes, it's performance is fast and flawless. The quad core AMD processor, combined with 4gb of ram and a 650gb hard drive, makes for a powerful package. I have worked in Office while downloading movies and burning CDs simultaneously. Processor speed never got above 40% and RAM stayed at about 60% usage. High quality keyboard and sharp display. I am completely satisfied with my purchase."

"I love my Toshiba Satellite laptop. Everything works just beautifully... except... the battery has poor life. When I use it without it plugged in, I seem to only get little more than an hour on the battery. Maybe I'm not doing something that would extend that battery life, but it's the only thing I don't like at this point."

"Although the keyboard is suave and easy flow-still hard to get use to. I have an IBM Lenovo with Windows XP Professional that I prefer over the Toshiba Windows 7. Do NOT like the duo mouse touchpad. I definitely will NOT get use to it and the arrow goes all over the place. Would NOT buy another one like this one--am considering selling this one on e-bay."

"The hard drive of my 10 year old HP laptop died and I was looking for a smaller laptop to take to Europe in a couple of months. I chose this model primarily for its size and the number keypad, which is most welcome for putting in dates in my geneology files. Yesterday, the computer would not start properly, i. e., Windows 7 wouldn't open. It took a while but I finally restored the setting from 2 days before the problem occurred and the compter seems to be working fine now. I did purchase the larger battery and a computer fan which is a lot quieter than the fan installed in the laptop. I am impressed with the speed of this computer...my HP took about 4 minutes to start up while the Toshiba takes about 30 seconds."

"I find the laptop to be an excellent computer. The main fault I found is the touch pad. I have problems with it and because of that I ordered a mouse from TOSHIBA. I am not alone with that problem as many others I know with other computers have done the same. Overall I think it one of the best and it is the first laptop I have owned."
