"Great Machine with a quality display. Two things I would like better; a latched lid when shut and a keyboard design where the keys have more texture. My fingers tent to glide over the wrong set when typing too easily."

"Excellent price for the features. Large hard drive, excellent large display, HDMI out and premium software/hardware. The only issues would be the size (if your looking for portability, this is a LARGE laptop), short battery life if you run it hard, and the processor is a little slower than the Athlon. That said, This is an excellent replacement for a desktop. A couple of games I've played on it seemed to run well with good graphics. And it comes with enough software to get most common things done. Overall, I like it alot esp. the large display, and I think it's a great deal."

"Received my cpu in a timely manner.All was well for the first day or two then it developed 3 vertical lines on right side of screen,along with a flickering flash Very distracting!!"

"No regrets here. It does exactly what I hoped it would. I work with a lot of data, spreadsheets, MSOffice. No qualms. Would recommend to anyone. Glad I got the 17" screen and not smaller."

"I replaced my old desktop with this laptop & have been very satisfied with this product. My only suggestion to Toshiba would be to add a backlit keyboard option, as I do most of my work at night with little light. Otherwise, my only problems have been with Windows 7 incompatibility with my printer, MP3, and digital camera. My decision to purchase another Toshiba laptop was based on my previous experience with Toshiba support/service for my grandaughter's laptop. They were great!"

"This is my second Toshiba laptop, and I am still a fan. I like the larger screen size, and the sound from the speakers is very good. I have been watching movies on it, and it is a surprisingly satisfying experience. The mousepad is a little quirky, but I am getting used to it. I had a similar problem with my old Toshiba, so it seems to go with the territory. The battery doesn't seem to get as hot as the old one, so that is a definite improvement. The computer functions perfectly. If there were one thing I could change, it would be the shininess of the plastic case for this reason-- it shows fingerprints. But that is a small thing, and simply makes me more aware of keeping it clean, I guess. Overall, I am very satisfied. Windows 7 is great!"

"My only wish is I'd gotten a backlit keyboard, for working at night and in poor light. Otherwise, the screen is clear and dependable; the kays have a nice, bouncy feel; the sound is good, if not concert-hall in depth; and there are enough connectors of various types. I paid quadruple this price for some HP trash 5 years ago."
