"I am an experienced but not techie computer user. I've had a desktop for 10+ years. This is my first laptop. It takes a bit of practice to make the change but this seems to be a really capable unit. I got it so I would have flexibility in using a computer and not be tied to my desk. So far, no issues. Windows 7 is a bit different than the XP but I am slowly taking advantage of the changes. The unit is durable with the wipeable keyboard and tough outside, Screen quality is nice although the speakers are lacking is quality. I will review again after I've had it a bit longer than a month."

"We bought this laptop specifically for my 8 year old son, as it was marketed towards kids. I love the keyboard and rubberized edges. What I'm not happy about may be more of a software issue, however since KidZui was part of Toshiba's description for this model, I hold Toshiba responsible. Everytime we sign into KidZui we get an error that the server is not responding and then the whole laptop freezes. Is there a problem with the KidZui software, or do I have a lemon laptop? Regular internet seems to work fine, however if I just wanted my son surfing the web, I would let him use our home laptop. I like the idea of a kids friendly laptop..."
