"Laptop came as advert. However, battery would not charge until I bent pins a little. Possibly some oxide buildup. That apart, this baby runs like a dream. Will buy again. Recovery software seems only to burn a very small file. What is the partition gets damaged??"

"I did a lot of research before deciding on this Toshiba. I replaced a 5 year old Dell that is still going strong. This Toshiba was perfect out of the box. Up and running in minutes with no problems. A good value."

"I think this laptop is a great value for the price. Our home laptop is a Mac, which we love, but I needed a separate machine for running Windows OS and specialized software for my home-based recruiting business. Plenty of memory, nice look and feel. This is a great buy for anyone looking to have a nice home computer or like me, if you need a computer for work. Nice size screen though I do use an external additional monitor as my work is more efficient if I can see multiple windows at once. I also use an external wireless keyboard and mouse, but I think the laptop keyboard has nice action and I do like the track pad. Just prefer a mouse for when I'm at the computer for hours. :)"
