"Was looking for a nice laptop to surf the web and music. Does real well. only complaint is the keyboard is a little awkward to type and you have to really press hard for it to register. but for the price you can't really complain."

"I opted for the L755 with very few extras, since I'm not an "extensive" user. It is much faster than my old one, which was what I wanted. When downloading thru the WiFi connection, it pretty much does it right now! The Windows 7 operating system is OK and didn't take long to get used to. The only complaint is that some of my older program applications won't work on it."

"The 15.6" display is a nice size for functional desktop use and yet still portable (versus a smaller 14" or larger 17"). The display is sharp. I like the feel of the keyboard and appreciate the numeric keypad. Good sound for laptop speakers. Memory card reader and HDMI output are handy. With 4 GB memory and the Intel i3-2310M processor, performance is great for most users."

"I love the combination of higher end hardware at a great price. This is my second Toshiba Satellite. Unfortunately, after a month of use, the hard drive started to fail. Toshiba was good enough to allow Geek Squad to replace the drive on site, saving me weeks of down time. I am still a loyal Toshiba Satellite fan--they pack a lot of value into these machines. I am still recommending Toshibas exclusively, but I fear if I see another machine that fails, that may change. At this point, they are still worth the benefit of the doubt."

"I would give this computer a 10 rating, as overall i love it. It is much faster than my old Toshiba which i owned for 5 years. My only problem has been two times my computer has frozen up and I've had to turn off the main switch and on again to get is started. This worries me some because it may freeze up sometime and not come back on."

"Although I do not use this laptop often enough to enjoy the full features (only use is for school assignments), it so far has performed great for what I use it for. This laptop, however, is very new as it was only purchased about two months ago so I cannot speak on its performance and durability over time. For the time being, the laptop performs great and does not slow me down one bit. It is lightweight and looks great. Even though I have already dropped it, the only result was a small dent near the indicator lights at the bottom due to it crashing into a pole. Durable and looks great!"

"I had my laptop for a little over a month and am enjoying it. The design of the laptop is stylish and eye-appealing. The screen resolution and graphics are superb as well as its speed. The speakers and sound are satisfactory. I just wish that the media card reader would accept an xd card. There is no excuse for that."

"This L755 laptop is very adequate for what I use it for. (I don't do a lot of gaming or heavy graphics stuff.) The price via a retail store was in budget. I've noticed over the past several years that people I know who had a Toshiba laptop had a very dependable machine. That was a major factor in my decision to buy a Toshiba laptop."

"Love the new laptop! Very fast performance, and the graphics are great. Excellent machine for the price. If there is any one negative I could list (and it's pretty minor), it would be the keyboard speed. I'm a pretty fast typist, and there have been several times when the keyboard wouldn't register my keystrokes."

"I am a long time Dell fan. My 8 year old Dell Laptop became so outdated it couldn't keep up with any new anything. I Almost ordered a replacement Dell but came across this Toshiba Satellite at a great price and it has everything I wanted at that price point.
I am very pleased with the computer, the Win 7 OS and the intel I3 (2nd gen) processor. I'm not a gamer but enjoy working with photos so the intel graphics processor works just fine for me.
My primary computer is a I5 desktop but I really like using this Toshiba just for the fun of it."

"I only gave the performance and Battery life 3 stars because not sure how good or bad they really are. Using low brightness level I can keep working on pretty much anything for around 2 hours. When just hitting the web, watching videos or reading ebooks that increases to above 3 closer to 4 hours. Even in one of the hottest summers I can remember in my near 40 years in Alabama it runs well. With a cooler pad have only had it get warm a few times. Whether using the nice sized monitor or connecting it with HDMI or VGA cable to a larger LCD extremely impressed with the video and graphics. Whether for a casual user, student heading off to college or professional needing a workhorse I think this will fill the bill."

"I bought this laptop after much research. It took forever to get, because all the stores near me did not have it in stock. I finally got it, and I am glad I did! It is fast and the webcam is a higher quality than any I have ever seen before. It also has a great battery life. I have always liked Toshiba products because they are high quality and have a good price. This is another example of a great product from Toshiba. I would certainly recommend this computer to anyone."

"I have gotten the dreaded "Blue Screen" no less than 5 times in the time I've had this (less than a month). The store did not inform me I only had 14 days to return it so when I tried to return it on the 16th day, they wouldn't take it back. I had everything removed back to default factory settings, and have gotten the Blue Screen again and I can't even load Microsoft Office. I'm taking it back - again - this afternoon since at this point I can be without it for the week it takes to send it back to find out it really doesn't work."

"I have the i-3 processor. More speed than I ever had in a laptop. Clear bright screen, fast and easy to use. I hardly ever play any games but if I did, this computer has enough guts to handle them. Would definately encourage friends to get this unit."

"Fast, great battery, reliable, great price too. I opened my last toshiba laptop so I could fix a problem it has with the fan. It turns out to be more easier to open a Toshiba than other brands and that 5 years old laptop its like new now. Im hoping this new one its as easy as his older cousin! "Start up is fast, love the numbers key pad, and battery life is longer than I expected. Speakers are good, could use a louder level setting though. The key stroke is stiff, but I actually like this, since when I relax my hands I don't end up with a row of "F"s.

"Had a great experience with my first Toshiba laptop A105 S4245 series from a few years ago. Now it becomes time for a new machine and I definitley wanted a Toshiba. After determining what model & features I needed I purchased this present machine.
I like the performance BUT am having trouble with the decreased keyboard surface. My typing skills are not too good maybe 15 WPM but my fingers are used to the FULL keyboard. i cannot understand why the numeric keypad is taking up aboiut 20% of my rght hand space. For MY use, the small keyboard and reduced space bar make for many useless typing errors that frustrate me.
I am also having trouble with how WIndows 7 and the microsoft word processor that replaced Word 2003 operate. I was considering NOT buying a Toshiba based on the differnt keyboard setup, not sure if I made a mistake or not just yet."

"I purchased this computer after many hours of research. I was mainly looking for a fast processor and this Toshiba with an core i3 does the job beautifully. When I work I multitask and so far I did not notice any glitches. I did not install MS office yet, but with 4GB memory I have no doubts it will run well, It even handles Itunes and this means a lot. I use it for school and the separate number pad it's great to enter grades. If it had a back lit keyboard it would be perfect, in any case I take a smooth-running laptop without a backlit keyboard any day."

"We bought this laptop mostly because of the "long lasting" battery. However, after a month the battery does not last as long as it was advertised to do so. This laptop is very easy to use and well worth the money that we paid for it. It was a good choice among the alternatives where its not too pricey for what you get. Yes, some more memory wouldve been nice but this will last a bit."

"This is an excellent laptop in almost every area. It is an excellent performer and should be more than adequate for almost everyone. My only complaint is the screen is shiny and therefore the laptop cannot easily be used outdoors. Toshiba has actually installed software of value compared to its competitors."

"My husband gave me this laptop for an early birthday/Christmas gift. For several years, I have had my own PC at home. I have wanted a laptop for some time now, so that we could Skype with our grandkids when we are away from home. "Initially bought this laptop for my daughter as her first computer, it has a large screen for viewing and easy to use and see keypad. Wireless allows her to use it throughout the house (because she is not allowed to leave the house with it yet) and it is solid enough that it will be in use for a long time. Visually appealing and easy to use with plenty of hard drive space for adding software as she gets older and will hopefully teach her the value of having one's own laptop for personal reasons, eventhough I have the admin account."

"Generally, I like my satellite with one very important exception. I am very disappointed in the sound card in the computer. Had I known that the volume on the computers internal speakers and on headsets plugged into the system would only go as high as it does, I would never have bought the laptop. I have adjusted all of the settings as loud as they will go and still am barely able to hear the computer as I view video clips or watch movies, or other activities related to audio."

"This is my 3rd Toshiba I've owned, the previous two were older Sattelites and I've been pleasantly impressed. It runs cool and I'm no longer worried about overheating. Great battery life. I wish it had a manual volume control. The touch-mouse is kind of hard to get used to and I'm not a fan of it since it blends into the casing. Overall very glad I upgraded."
