"It's plenty fast for normal internet searches/use and admin type work. I'm not a gamer so can't comment on that. I like it, user friendly with the number keyboard - just like a desk top and very responsive mousepad."

"I've been buying Toshiba laptops for well over 10 years. I appreciate the style and workmanship of their products, but the constant I've had to endure is re-formatting the hard drive to get rid of all the garbage that gets installed from factory. As the other reviewer noted, no restore discs come with this laptop, so I installed Fedora 15 on it...cuz I'm cheap like that. tl;dr: great hardware, horrible software."

"Its a good pc for what i paid for it only differs from the s5271 on two points so it a a good all around pc. My last one was a acer so its a big improvment for me."

"I purchased this laptop at a good price. As I unpacked it, I noticed no operating system discs or users manual. Granted, I can create discs and print a manual from disc. I choose not to. It went back to the retailer for a refund. I guess I need to go a little more upscale. This is a comedown from my last Toshiba laptop."
