"I use this laptop for school and I just totally love it. It is usually a fight over the webcam because my 10 year old daughter loves to make her little videos and "webshows" as she likes to call it."

"The USB ports and printer plugin should be in the back of the machine out of the way or towards the back of the left or right sides. If you have a printer or other accessories plugged in you cannot access the DVD drive."

"The picture display and sound quality were far less than expected. The picutre was fuzzy and the sound [music] was like it was coming from a tin can -- not good at all. As a result, returned it the next day trading it in for another brand laptop of comparable price, but with far better sound and picture quality."

"I live in Louisiana and the only internet service I have is Dial Up. There is no telephone connection on the L755. If I knew it didn't have a dial up connection I wouldn't have bought it. Now I'm stuck with it."

"Great laptop for the price. The processing speed for gaming and pictures is very good. The only issue is with a couple of features. The mouse area is not centralized. I would recommend designing a little more to the right to center. It really needs a keyboard backlight even for basic models of the Satalite systems."

"Worth The Price
I bought a laptop because of the limitations of space for euipment. There was no intent to travel with this very much.
I bought a Toshiba because of the quality of Toshiba TVs that I have.
It would be better if you made provision to print out the mannual by means of odd and even page selection.."

"Power cord is in way of DVD and blocks use of DVD .Better located on back of laptop like Satellite A135-S7404. Mouse pad would be better in center of laptop and smooth and sunken like Satellite A135-S7404."

"My first toshiba laptop lasted four years two months and it gave me great service so when I had gotten this new laptop for Christmas it was already the one I wanted. The only thing I don't like about it is every time I need to look at something I have to keep zooming into it to see it as it is always to small in print. But otherwise I love and am enjoying this computer."

"Everything is good on this laptop EXCEPT the sound. Its just the volume is so low i have to have headphones to hear clearly and its a little annoying. Other than that this is the best laptop for its price."

"I have only had my Toshiba laptop for a little over a month. However, I am finding that is a very good computer. All of the features are easy to use and for someone like me who is not tech savy this is a real plus. I am still learning all of the various features, but I think this laptop will be a great machine to own."

"I'm probably not the best person to be writing a review of a newly acquired laptop. There are new features to get used to - Windows 7, while meant to be extremely user-friendly, with lot of little symbols to click and advice popping up, seems very cumbersome at first. The laptop itself has several very annoying problems which, I'm sure, in time, I can figure out how to fix - the touchpad is very sensitive - I've made it less sensitive but have learned that other users have resorted to an external mouse to fix the problem. The zoom keeps cutting in and out so that documents change size all the time with no warning - I don't think I'm touching the touchpad, but I must be. At other times the cursor stops responding completely and I have to restart the computer. On the positive side, I do like the feel of the keys and the size of the screen. The machine is fast - internet access is great. Sigh. I'll probably get used to all of this and grow to love my new laptop - just not there yet."

"Coming from a 2002 Dell desktop, this is a tremendous upgrade. I did my research first and I am very satisfied with my purchase. It allows me to do the work I need to do in an efficient manner. The 640GB of hard drive and 4GB of Ram allows me plenty of space for now and the future. It moves quickly and I haven't had any problems with the laptop running hot. I purchased this laptop on sale at a great price point at Office Depot."

"Laptop came without recovery disk and no operator guide on how to use the important features...ie, I've never had a Laptop with CAM capability and have no instructions on how to turn it on and what does it do. Where is it located in the software.....NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT THAT."

"I am enjoying using my Toshiba L755-S5256. It is proving to be a good fit for my use. It is stylish and beautiful! I am still getting used to a laptop since I have always been a desktop user. When I have a question I call Toshiba's Customer Service, and they have been excellent help! I added Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 and it is very helpful for my home office work. So far I am very happy with my Toshiba L755-S5256 Laptop!"
