"Now i can run complex Flight Simulators that my old Dell couldn't handle. I like the big 17" screen. The touch pad ability to enlarge the image on the screen is a nice touch i use a lot. No reason to use a desk top any more forever."

"HP, Dell, Acer, Asus and all those other electronics store go to's have got nothing on the Toshiba Satellite. This is hands down the best out of the box experience I've ever had with a laptop. Toshiba don't spend their time trying to offset their cost's by loading it up with a ton of junk and third party software. It is fast, light and superb value for money, a must for any home or small business user, not ideal for gaming though."

"This computer is great for my needs. Large hard drive, its mobile and a 17 inch screen. I wanted a large screen for doing a lot of split screen work. Didn't plan on carrying this computer around with me a lot but even so, the weight of it is not too bad. It can count as part of your exercise routine (joke). Keys on the keyboard offer positive feel when using it. Having said that, I have to press the space bar rather firmly to engage the computer to put a space in when I am typing a sentence. Speakers on this laptop are good and can put out a good volume. I have two hearing aids in and I can listen to music just fine. It is a good value for the price. There is one issue I wish toshiba would address. I don't like the stick on letters, symbols etc. that are on the keys. Someday I think those are going to peel off. I hope to keep this computer for quite a while and to that end I wish they would make a silicone keyboard protector for this computer (after many phone calls, on line chats and a return-I know this for a fact Toshiba does NOT make one for this computer model). One other thing on a wish list-a third USB port. Overall a very good computer. At least from what I have experienced so far."

"This system was for my son to replace the aging desktop he uses to play games. His games play very well on this new system. I couldn't be more pleased."

"Nice, general purpose machine for home that is easy to set up and use. Just turn it on and go! Adequate number of USB ports, and built-in bluetooth capability. Keyboard has a nice touch, and a simple layout. Everything about this machine is just practical. Nice screen size for easy reading, but fits in a standard size laptop case."

"Have only had the laptop for 6 weeks so cannot speak to its reliability over time. I can say that a previous toshiba's reliability was so good that I purchase another."
