"Well, I have had the Toshiba now for a little while and it has preformed quite well. Though I am not a fan of " blotware" , nor all the trial loads which just take up space, the machine seems to be operating okay....and adapting to my inputs and configuratons....one thing though I would say I prefer re-installation disks, The keyboard feel and pressure could be improved..I have an old Gateway Notebook which is much more pleasant and responsive to the typing touch than this one, at least that's how it seems to me....I guess I will just have to get use too its more delicate touch....Otherwise I can't say much other than we shall see how long it lasts....I did have to upgrade the Memory....which I did....but boy the clips locking the memory chips in their slots was quite flimsy....other than those two things.....it only has three USB slots....but so far the machine is working snappy...for the money I believe it was a good deal....this is my first Toshiba....so I can not say much about their tech support, quality of products, or manufacturing dependability.....I hope it does not turn out to be a lemon...we shall see...."

"This is my 5th satellite. It is used in an office environment as well as in the field (oil patch). Satellites take the beating of the field day in and day out, that's why this is my 5th one. I have never had to contact support but once, but when I did need them my problem was resolved in minutes."

"I havent had any problems with my Toshiba Satellite.Everything ive tried to do on it has turned out excellent!It burns movies perfectly,and music sounds great when I play it through my laptop.As far as Im concerned,Toshiba is the only computer Ill buy!"
