"This is not the computer that I wanted when I called Toshiba. My 8 year old Toshiba died and I needed another. However, the one I got was the only one ready-to-ship. The sales person told me that I would not be disappointed in the performance of this computer. She was right. This laptop far exceeds the performance of my old laptop. It's faster, easier to use, and quieter. So, after a month, I'm extremely satisfied. Now for communication with the shipping department: I got overnight delivery via UPS. After waiting at home all day (until after 3:30 PM) having placed my order the previous day, I called Toshiba and the representative told me that the order had been delayed because of UPS aircraft problems. I asked if I could get a reduction in the shipping fees (which were rather high, considering they normally ship free via regular UPS) and was told no, that it wasn't Toshiba's fault that the order had been delayed. So no computer and no reduction in shipping fees. However, for some reason, less than 30 minutes later, here comes the UPS truck with the computer. I can't explain it, but I'm happy with the computer."
