"I bought this laptop from a vendor who buys overstock merchandise. While it has the low end of i7 processors it's still pretty fast especially when you bulk it up to its full RAM potential. With the one game I play on it works better than ever. With Win 8 start up is a breeze. Win 8 takes some getting used to and things aren't as second nature to me on it as they had become with previous Windows versions. Otherwise the laptop is definitely worth the money I spent. Its construction is solid and sturdy and it doesn't really heat up at all. The fan comes on once in a great while and it's very quiet."

"This computer is fantastic. Its the fastest computer I have ever owned. (I-7 3630QM ivy bridge Intel processor). It looks great too. I do some light online gaming (War Thunder) and it handles it fine. the bottom gets warm, but not hot at all. I can keep it on my lap without any padding for hours. The battery is fine, lasts about 90 minutes under full usage, but its the low end battery, so it meets expectations. Windows 8 is fine, there are ways of setting it to open up the traditional windows screen on boot. Making shortcuts to shut it down are just a Google away."

"This laptop is a great machine. No problems at all. Windows 8 is real easy to use, once you figure out where everything is located. Actually, that didn't take very long. Quick response and good battery life."

"I really like this computer. Windows 8 is alright but don't like the start screen. Easy enough to set it to boot into the Windows 7 looking screen. I gave 4 stars on battery life, because it lasts a little over an hour with just the battery. Normal and what I expected, so Good not excellent. This is the fastest computer I have ever used, the I7 processor is really really fast. It doesn't get hot under normal usage. I use it on my lap without any extra insulation or cooling. I would recommend it to anyone."

"This Laptop does not work nearly as well as my much older Satellite Toshiba. It is slow; it goes blank at times; it sometimes doesn't seem to want to come on and I have to reboot it. Is it the Laptop or is it Windows 8? One Salesman later told me that he would not have a computer with Windows 8 unless it is a touch-screen."

"Ok, so i just got this laptop the last week of January because my previous Hp piece of junk finally died. I had sent my hp back 6 times for a total laptop-less time of 18 WEEKS..... But since i got this computer it is flying circles around that hp. I wanted Toshiba when i got the hp 2 yrs ago but could not afford. I am so very happy with it."

"I like everything about my laptop. I will admit I am not fond of Windows 8, and that is the only reason I gave it 4 stars in the "Feature" category. I have not had time to take advantage of the free class they are offering, so once I take it I hope to be able to navigate around better."
