"I like the laptop (my first 17") because it is sharp, easy to see and has a larger keyboard. The problem is that once I log in to Windows 8, the touchpad and cursor stop working. I have had it serviced twice and my tech guy suggested that I return it under warranty to have Windows re-loaded. It works fine with an exterior mouse. This is my third Toshiba product and I like them, but this is a PAIN IN THE BACKSIDE."

"I ordered this new laptop because I already have a 15" Toshiba and it has been great, but this one is not quite the same. The edges are not smooth and rubs your arm. The speakers are poor at best, my other one has the H/K speakers which are really good. Windows 8 has been a challenge, but I'm working through that, There should have been better instructions for something new, for people who aren't always on top of the new."

"This is my third Toshiba computer, I have always had great things to say about Toshiba. The Intl I3 core processor I thought would be inadequate, but have found this is plenty for the average home user. Screen and sound are superb. I was the power cord attachment come off the back instead off the left side. Also could use one more USB port on the left side too. Minor things, but overall a great machine."
