"I have owned five Toshiba laptops over the years. Usually wind up giving my "old" one away and purchasing an updated on. This is the first one that I have ever had a battery go bad on. Little over a year and a half and battery is non functional. Sad. The last two laptops I gave away still have fully functional batteries."

"I was trying to find a decent laptop to replace my old Toshiba & came across the Satellite series. I was amazed at how great of a system was put together with different 'bells & whistles' options, including the Harmon Kardon speakers which are awesome, at different price points. I chose to go for the more powerful, but not the apex, of the Satellites with the P755-S5259 that has the Intel Core i7 processor & was absolutely blown away by the performance! This laptop out paces my 9 month old desktop (of another popular brand). If you're looking for a decent Satellite series laptop that can handle all & more of what you expect from a desk top system, you will be pleased with this fine machine! I have always bought Toshiba laptops & always will because they seek to bring the best of computing hardware & functions to the consumer without bogging it down & being cost prohibitive. Music lovers can really appreciate the Harmon/Kardon speakers which can be used with an MP3 player even when the laptop is not open & powered up. You can also charge cell phones & other devices with the USB while it's in sleep mode. There are so many positive things about this laptop that I truly cannot find anything negative to say about it."

"This computer has everything I want..... and a bit more. These Harman/Kardon speakers are easily the best speakers I have dealt with on a Toshiba machine, the 6GB or RAM, and excellent storage space are well also. The main reason I snatched this computer up was for USB 3.0 and the uses for that, and so far I am impressed. The aesthetics of this device are also there, with bright stickers accenting a dark body and raised graphics. Relatively easy to clean and take care of, battery life of an average 3 hours, a bright back-light, and very lightweight. Overall,this is so far the best laptop I have purchased."
