"Good computer. I basically like everything about it EXCEPT:
* Chiclet Keyboards reduce the amount of usable space per button. I simply can not understand why this is the new standard for laptops.
* The screen isn't very sharp. Small text looks pixelated.
* The left & right clicker buttons are very "hard". It takes a relatively strong amount of pressure to press them down, which becomes very tiring on my thumb after about an hour of use. They also click loudly. These buttons are by far my biggest issue with this computer.
* The media buttons are very useful, but they should be more programmable. Example: I wish I could control iTunes with the play/pause button when it is minimized.
* The volume control buttons adjusts the volume quite slowly. It takes several seconds to move from one end to the other, which can be problematic when I play something that is much louder than expected, and I need to quickly bring the volume down.
* No middle click. Big issue. I really wish that by pressing both left & right click buttons simultaneously, I could open links in a new tab, and other functions based on what program I was using. I was very surprised and disappointed when I discovered this computer did not have that ability.
* The ability to scroll by moving my finger along the edge of the mousepad sometimes stops working.
* I can not always eject devices straight from my computer by right-clicking them and clicking "eject". In those cases have to go to "Safely Remove Hardware", which is less direct.
* Sometimes the backlit keyboard's one-second light up function does not work. Even with a full battery or while plugged in, and not in "eco mode"."

"So far this laptop has been everything I could have wanted. One of the best features for me is the seperate number pad. I also like the backlit keyboard. The only thing I might have done different for this model, if I was Toshiba, would've been to go ahead and max out the RAM with that huge hard drive. It came with 6 gigs of RAM when the max of 8 would have been simple to do. I'll do that anyway but it would have been a nice addition to a really nice laptop."

"Great performance and style. Screen isvery good. I watch movies a lot and the deinition is excellent.Disappointed that there was no recovery disc supplied. The illuminated keyboard is great, but it should light up for a longer time or be on all the time."

"It works great. I enjoy using it. The one thing I really like about it is the built in camara for Skypeing. The speaker quality for watching movies is amazing on this computer. It feels like you are actually watching on tv, that's how awsome they are.
The one thing I don't like about it so far is that the fingure pad is very sensitive. You will activate the zoom without even realizing you did it or you are looking at something and you move it over to an object and it clicks on it and opens it without you clicking on it. Overall I like the quality of the laptop."

"I bought my P750 as a new laptop for college. It had everything I wanted, and more! A couple great features are the USB 3.0, numeric keypad and the fully lighted keyboard. The i5 runs like a Ferrari and the HD is never going to be filled. (Too much space! But that's a good thing!)
One complaint I have on it is that they advertise it with over 6 hours of battery life, however that is with everything off. i.e. screen as dim as it can go, HD turns off after 5 mins, wi-fi off, etc.
On average I can get 2.5 hours out of it. (and that is after the calibration) so as long as you are near a power source you should be fine.
4 out of 5 stars!"

"The only thing I would change is the location of the A/C adapter plug-in on the RH side of the laptop. It would be better on the back side to allow directional access from either RH or LH and less intereference when using other side ports"

"While the computer overall fits ones basic computing need for surfing the net and basic functions it is lacking in one main area. The Synaptics pointing device on the computer is too sensitive. Often times while viewing a page on the internet if your finger touches the mouse pad the Synaptics pointing device changes the size of the internet page you are viewing. This is extremely irritating when trying to read a news story or other page on the internet. The only way to avoid this is to get a wireless mouse and turn the Synaptics pointing device off completely.
Overall the laptop is a decent value for the price paid, fix the pointing device issue and this computer would be a great deal for the price."

"Very good laptop for the price range. Battery life is good, but could be better. The cost of an extended battery is 1/4 of the total price to upgrade. Audio is very good, graphics good also. Screen is sharp and bright with a nice keyboard."

"I really love my laptop. It is easy to use. The only thing I do not like is the screen grows and shrinks on me sometimes when I am doing things. Everything else I just love. It is lightweight, comes on right away, has a large hard drive, and my mother (83 years old) can use it easily."

"I could not be happier with this computer! It has a lot of the things I was looking for and is high quality. It has a good processor and is easy to type on. I love the number keys on the side and the fingerprint resistant finish. The size of the screen is nice and the computer is lightweight. I also really like the location of the speakers; it makes for great sound. The only thing that is a slight problem is the battery doesn't last that long (about 3 hours). However that is to be expected when running a machine that takes a lot of power. So if you plan on using it for a while, just plug it in!"

"In the late 90s I had a Toshiba in the military for office use and loved it. The last 10 years tried Dell and Gateway only because of price and hated them. Just recently bought a Toshiba and it has not disapointed me. It was easy to set up and has outsanding "bells and whistles" that came with it."

"You get allot for your money with this great laptop. Playing movies or viewing pictures - its blazing fast and the sound system sounds great. It has a fast processor and comes with 6 gigs of memory. Complete data jobs and financial chores, word processing quickly - this computer is a real work horse."

"This is my first Toshiba laptop, shopped around and all in all this one met all my criteria. To be really picky I'd like to have on it a recognition system to sign in without password, as some competitors do, a better battery life and for sure the camera does not produce bright and crispy images. Other than that, this laptop is an excellent value"

"I have used laptops when volunteering at our public TV/radio station and hated every minute. Frankly I was seduced by the keyboard on mine. The raised back-lit keys have been a dream. An IT guy came by to install the software and drivers for my printer. (I kept hitting dead ends and he did too. Made me feel much better.) He said this was the nicest laptop he'd ever worked on. Do you think I overbought???? I don't. I'm thrilled!"

"Has all the features I need and want plus was a great price. A friend of mine has had a Toshiba for 4 years with excellent service. I am impressed with the durability of the case and the standard size of the hard drive. The battery could be larger, but they do have larger capacity batteries for sale on their site."

"The Satellite laptop is lightweight, even though it's one of the larger ones available. The keyboard is comparable to a normal computer keyboard so typing is generally the same. The screen is flat and shiny so there is a bit of a glare and reflection, especially when sitting in bright sunlight. Maybe a matt finish on the screen would improve that little problem. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase."

"This is a really nice laptop. This is our 5th Toshiba laptop; I upgraded my M305 series laptop to this one. Nice graphics and sound and we like the lighted keyboard. PC shuts down and boots up quickly. Very quiet computer. PC has bloatware but most of them do. I would recommend this laptop to a friend. We're still using the other Toshiba's; wow, they really do last."

"I purchaced this laptop after my HP of 4 years was slowly dying. After going to a few local stores, I found this laptop in stock.
Pros:
The keyboard lights up as you type.
Placement and sound of the speakers.
Hard Drive will stop spinning when computer is moved, to prevent damage to the drive.
Fast bootup.
Great looking screen.
HDMI port.
Cons:
The place of the power adapter. It is next to the cd\dvd drive and it can be a little awkward when trying to open the drive. It's not a big deal though, but it would of been better to put the adapter on the other side of the laptop.
I have not used the battery that much, so I can't comment on that. Over all, I like this laptop and would recommend it to friends."

"This Toshiba is a great desk replacement. It has power, features, and memory to serve as a main computer for virtually any tasks. I really like the beautiful screen and the no-fingerprint body. It came with a minimum of bloatware so getting it ready for use was quite easy. The fan is quiet as well."
