"My second Toshiba. I believe the first one (had 5 yrs) only stopped performing efficiently because I used it so much...had it in the deserts of the Middle East too. Happened to replace it with a HP that only lasted 2 1/2 years. When HP died (wouldn't power up more than 1 sec), I started my search with Toshiba. Love the Toshiba laptops; I definitely get my monies worth."
