"First of all, I feel like I got a good deal on mine when I looked at my options at the time (last month). Secondly, I favored Toshiba because 1) I happen to really like the keyboard; 2) I used one of the early Toshiba laptops in business and was very happy with it. I even bought it after having read a lot of negative reviews, mostly about things like it automatically shutting down. I tend to think some of those may have been due to default energy-saving settings. On the other hand, it's still early for me, only a few weeks and I really haven't spent many hours on it yet. I actually have more computers than I can use, but I wanted this one anyway."

"Excellent value. Fast! Solid quality. I keep 10+ programs open without compromising performance. Like feel of keyboard. Have had one month, continue to discover new bells and whistles. On/Off light glare too bright, - had to block."

"Lap top has had no issues in 1st month. Works as expected. Have not put Adobe creative suite on yet, so I am not really sure how on board graphics are when programs are more intensive. But they work fine for web browsing."

"This laptop is great for both work (Construction Safety Manger) and home use. It allows for multi user set-up and has lots of memory for at least three users. I would procure another Toshiba. My grilfriend is taking on line classes and it allows for her to save as many documents as she needss. Exellent machine!"

"The Toshiba P755 is a good laptop that performs as expected. The screen is sharp and the speakers are clear and loud. The battery life is subpar, about less than three hours. The laptop has several features listed below that were bothersome. But I either tried to get used to them or not let them bother me . 1) The touch pad buttons at the bottom of the laptop require a harder effort to click them. I am used to buttons laptops with buttons that are touch sensitive, but the P755 buttons require such a strong click that my finger tip gets sensitive and sore. 2) My prior laptops had touch pads that offered some resistance and were sensitive to any movement of my finger. The P755 touch pad surface is smooth and sometimes may not track my finger movement as well when my finger tip is really dry. 3) I had to get used to the chiclet keys on the keyboard. I am used to keys that are touch sensitive, but the P755 keys are more springy. 4) The battery life is not good. It lasts less than three hours and would not be adequate for a cross-country flight. 5) The P755 was bundled with a year's use of Kaspersky security software. After installing it, I've encountered some issues in some applications. For instance, I am unable to click on a button to upload photos to a site. That button previously worked on my old laptop. I am in contact with a Kaspersky technician to change some settings to resolve this issue. The P755 is a good laptop with the features I wanted. I realize no laptop is perfect, so I have to adjust to the issues listed above."

"The Satellite P755 is lightweight, nice size widescreen with a crystal clear display and a work friendly keyboard layout. The Harman/Kardon speakers are surprisingly loud for this size machine. The camera is clear with the mic located next to it. It is of good quality and sufficient for basic tele communicating, not dark or grainy like some others. The i7 processor is what makes this little machine a great buy. It works like a horse. It has nice, soft keys and the number pad set at a nice distance away from the main keyboard is a nice feature as well. It comes with Windows7 which took a little getting used to, but that's not a Toshiba problem, its a Microsoft problem. It's got some touch sensitive keys above the main keyboard which tend to go off when I wipe down dust. Sometimes it turns on the eco friendly feature when I do that, which gets a little annoying because then I have to change the settings back. The eco friendly feature is cool because it will help preserve battery life. With it, the battery lasts about 4-41/s hours at full blast.Note that it will dim your screen a bit. I will get the extra 12 cell battery to keep me energize for long haul jobs. Overall, I love this machine. It was a great upgrade from my Fujitsu A series and it does all the same things. I just wish I could get all the old MicroSoft programs I had on my old Fujitsu. Microsoft's upgrades are not as good as their old stuff."
