"I own a 7 year old Satellite and I'm still using it. The reason I bought my newer one was because I wanted to update my technology. It's been a month since I've owned the P755. The only real issue I have with this laptop is the Blu-ray/DVD software (Corel WinDVD). It's not stable and I encountered that a few years ago with my desktop computer. I just decided to buy Cyberlink Power DVD. No problems anymore! Oh and the HDD Shock Protection doesn't interfere with playback of music when you bump your laptop. You do get a warning but you can stop it from popping up in it's window for the future. No biggy! U hope to own this computer for 7 years and betond. Thanks Toshiba!!"

"I have always gotten HP laptops. When it was time to replace my seven year old laptop l looked at HP for the laptop with the features I wanted and Toshiba was $200 cheaper. The Fusion X2 finish is great really don't see finger prints on it. I am very happy with the laptop."

"I have owned other electronic products by Toshiba and their reputation for quality continues with this laptop. The "chicklet" keyboard keys are pleasant to use and have a great feel. I've had the unit for just over one month and am using it for both business and personal use. Graphics, sound quality and processor speed are outstanding."

"good basic laptop for everyday use pros: graphics are very clear and sharp bluray player is good sound is good speed is very good cons: hard drive protection kicks in with the slightest movement fan runs all the time I can't get the advertised time between battery charge"

"is very fast! the keyboard is excellent, the screen has a lot of shine. at first the battery is not properly marked it lasted. but after a few cycles of loading and unloading started to make successfully. Sound quality is very good and with high volume. 4K video download and play without problems"

"I've owned several Toshiba products starting with my first VCR in 1990. It was built very well and had a true high speed rewind that was SILENT! Fastforward 15 years to 2005, I finally entered the world of Laptops and bought a Toshiba Satellite A205. It was nothing special to techies but it was built well and VERY reliable...until a cat decided to do disgusting things on it. My precious A205 screamed as to tattle on the cat then she died (just like the cat!!!). It mustve hit a power source cuz the room smelled like fried ham :( The A205 was proof to me that Toshiba will always be my choice, it took a beating and killed its assailant. I saw the Sattelite P744D at a local retailer and once I read the specs, felt the keyboard, and smiled at the price, it was a no-brainer! This is my first experience with AMD 'APU's and the Radeon GPU but so far its been just freeking AWESOME!!! GO TOSHIBA GO :D"

"When i comes time to change or for change, most men tuck and run. Being out of our comfort zone for any amount of time can prove dangerous and gut-wrenching. i must confess, I am a tried and trued version of just that. I mean I barely want to change my underwear much less my HP. However, today i made the decision to return my brand new HP laptop because it just wouldn't and couldn't preform as i needed. Going back in all i wanted to do was get the net best HP, littl did i know change was right around the corner. having exhausted my options,the sales associate asks???? have you thought about changing to another brand??? of course not i thought to my self, as he proceeded to ill my ears with exactly what i wanted to hear. This is a Toshiba ! didn't register right away but when it did i was already sold on all the features for a beautiful price. I am glad that i decided to change because this is the greatest experience with a PC ever. Toshiba Rocks all the way around except you wont get rocked by the price,. If you are a man or woman afraid of change, go buy yourself a Toshiba D755S and your outlook will drastically change. Thank You"
